I can’t believe anyone had the cohones to ask people to pay for this sewage.
Unlike the first movie, where the premise is set up, there is no introduction here. The director just dives right in to unceremoniously jerking between scenes of the women arguing with their mothers (who, in an Amazing Coincidence, All show up unexpectedly a few days before Christmas), and of them drinking and complaining together. The script is terrible. There is no plot. The gags are over the top and unfunny. It’s poorly acted: I don’t think even one of the actors believes what they are saying (with the possible exception of Justin Hartley). Perhaps they can’t believe what a terrible movie they are in!
There is one scene in this movie that made me laugh: That of the 3 mothers in church on Christmas eve. The good will of that scene lasts about 15 minutes, then swerved right back into the sewer.
Be gone Bad Moms. May you be forgotten on the trash heap of movie history.

Bad Moms- Good, Bad Moms Christmas - STINKS!

Bad Moms is the usual semi-raunchy comedy...and funny, but this Bad Moms Christmas...it is the pits. What ruined it for me? Little children using some of the worst language throughout the movie just made me cringe. I am kind of surprised to see an all-star cast reuniting for such a poorly scripted movie.

I want to give an honest review of the film, but I haven't even had a chance to watch it. The included DIGITAL HD CODE does NOT WORK. What large company that produces BluRay and DVD to be sold to consumers mess up on something like this? This is not an item sold at the 99 cent store. This is such a let down. I can just imagine jumping throughs hoops to get someone to fix this. On top of that, AMZ was nice enough to send me a replacement and that does NOT work either. It is clearly the studios fault for generating and including faulty DIGITAL HD CODES that do NOT WORK!

Rushed, Unfinished, Dissapointing sequel

Disappointing follow-up to a decently fun original. It felt rushed, like the studio forced it into the holiday window. The holiday theme gave the film a new premise, but couldn’t elevate it above mediocrity. There are kernels of good stuff here that just weren’t fully realized or fleshed out. The script needed more tooling, the dialogue could’ve benefited from a lot more polish, it just felt rushed and unfinished. Of the recent crop of hilarious women-behaving-badly films, this is the worst. It felt like a payday for everyone involved to cash in on the success of the original and the growing demand for films like this, but it was a letdown.

Instead of wasting your time here, just rewatch Girls Trip, Bridesmaids, or the original. You’ll enjoy that experience more.

I think it might be useful for getting Christmas guests to leave during Christmas

Wish I would have rented instead. Now I own this. I think it might be useful for getting Christmas guests to leave during Christmas. Loved the first one.

Not as funny as the original; digital copy is iTunes only

My wife and I enjoyed the original Bad Moms movie, and we also enjoy quirky Christmas movies, so we thought we would really enjoy A Bad Moms Christmas. The movie is largely laugh out loud funny, but it drags toward the end and gets almost depressing at one point. Christine Baranski is funny but she does not resemble Mila Kunis at all and is miscast as Mila's mother. All the other casting is good, and it appears most everyone from the original movie returned for the sequel. The humor is adults only, as expected, but there is nothing funny or appropriate about a young child using extreme profanity which occurred several times in this film. That aside, the movie was fun, the scenes with the male stripper are hilarious, and I'm sure it's one we will watch again at Christmas time. As others have said, this sequel is not as funny or good as the original Bad Moms movie.

The big disappointment about this Blu-Ray version of the movie is the digital copy code only works for iTunes. All other movies we own with digital copy use either Vudu or Movies Anywhere, so this was a huge disappointment. Unless you plan to watch digital movies on an Apple product you will not be happy with the digital copy.

I really liked the movie. It is risqué and not as good as the first one but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The addition of the moms’ moms was great and they picked the perfect actors. I’m only giving it 3 stars instead of 4 because the digital copy is worthless to me. I thought I’d be able to redeem it through moviesanywhere.com and then sync it up with my Amazon library, but it can only be redeemed through ITunes. The description should clearly state this redemption limitation.

I've Definitely Seen Worse

I actually didn't mind this movie. Its Christmas time so the Christmas theme worked. I would say its not as funny as the first one but I liked the over the top storyline that would never happened in a million years. That's the good thing about movies. They sometimes take you away from reality. I did like the addition of the moms. They are all great actresses and made things funny. I also LOVE Kathryn Hahn - not a huge fan of the all her raunchy lines she had but she is funny.
