About the author

Hello, I’m Dr. Block. I live near San Diego, California. I write books for kids and middle-grade readers.
Most of my books are about video games, but I also write books about epic adventures, fantasy, and sometimes horror.
I couldn’t do this without everyone who reads my books, especially those of you who take the time to leave reviews. Thanks for being awesome!

I don't quite remember the Null if that was in SV, but he seems to be nice here. The Null could always turn on him and be evil, but I'm not sure that will happen.
Now this book was just the end of Captain Porkrind, but they will have a final battle with Entity 303 later on. He will turn into Claire's father at the end, but that shouldn't be explicitly stated here. I'm not sure who will win the fight between Entity 303 and Winston, but neither of them poof. I'm sure there's a plan in place for the end of this series.
I don't exactly know what to think about this book. Winston does become a good leader and a good pirate, but all of the wandering trader stuff is gone. They also might go and save the villager slaves in the Nether, although they don't know where they are. Maybe the witch who has the book that the Null is asking for knows. Maybe they also know the couple who made Jimmy and Claire or something like that. I don't exactly remember the past books either.
The dolphin could definitely be Penelope or could just be a coincidence. I would prefer it to not be Penelope and just a huge coincidence, but you already have a plan with that too. Winston would be forced to think about his past and learn from that. The resolution of this series will be a little confusing, especially to me.
I don't have much more to say about this book and series, so I will end the review here. Glad you're working on GG more after this and working on the past of the Winston and SV series.
