Michael is on the mark with this book. He explains what happened to him and why he does what he does. He gives you his process, and explains that doing what he does will not make you a millionaire. He admits he is not a millionaire, but he is a very happy and content author.

This is not the book for you if you are looking for a get rich quick scheme.

This is the book for you if you are looking for a write fast and fearless scheme. This is the book for you if you want to learn how to stand up to your fears and push through. This is the book for you if you need a slap in the face about how much time you are wasting NOT writing your book.

This IS the book that I needed.

This autor has strong believes. But he is not taking in consideration that not everyone is the same. He has a method that's not really applicable in all writers. For example he has a strong motivation to write fast based in his life style, but he doesn't tell you how to do this, he just tell you why he has to do it. He tell you that to write fast you have to make it with only one draft. OK, good advice but : How? He doesn't tell you that. It's like a coach telling you: of course you can throw three hail Marie's in a row. Joe Montana could do it. I can do it, so why can't you do it?. "OK I guess, but... How??
There is some good advice in this book. I will start writing on my phone and I share the author's passion and motivations. But again there is nothing really practical in this book. Except for the phone advice. The chapter about writers block is more like general advice for authors. Meditate, eat well, take a nap, go for a walk, overcome your fears by writing them. All good, but like I said, nothing new.
Overall I don't think this is a good book, but I am grateful for the effort the author put in this. I really think that his advice about the phone writing is good, and if that's the only thing I get out of this, so be it. Take my $3.

After reading Be a Writing Machine I felt like I walked away with an entire string of pearls, with a gold clasp at that. M.L.. Ronn gave me much to ponder and, at the same time, actionable steps that I can implement immediately as I strive to be the best writer I can be. This book is well worth the cost and time you'll invest in reading it.

This book was exceptional it gave me permission to write how I wanted. I have tried outlining and didn’t like it then I felt bad for not liking it because I thought that’s what I’m supposed to be doing. Same thing with editing, it just confuses me but this is something I’d still like to learn about.
I’ve heard of this author before I think through Joanna Penn but this is my first time reading his book and I can’t wait to read more of his books. I learned a lot from it.

I started following Michael La Ronn on YouTube a few years ago and continued to support him through various social media and other links and associations.
I am still diving into his fiction but I have loved his non-fiction work especially this book. I need a physical copy so I can keep close and handy to keep me going in my writing.
It is to the point of what you need to know for being a writer. It isn’t a lofty series with a workbook on writing (like some of us have paid for, I’m sure.).
Maybe it is the timing since a lot of things are digital and can come to us quickly but I love watching and listening to a writer share his process with us and help us out along the way.

It is a personal account of what has worked for him and a lot of the techniques are unique, universal (everyone can do them), and easy. I like Michael La Ronn because he writes from the heart, but uses his head too. I don’t think any writer would regret reading this book. A must have.

He offers practical advice, some of which I already do and so can testify it works. Especially if you're a part-time, meaning you work a full-time job and write and publish yourself alongside this.
I recently came across Michael's youtube channel, and then this book. I've read a few books on how to develop mindset, this is one of the best.
