Overall cute book!
*Thank You* Steven John for bringing Blippi into ours and so many other kids lives. Honestly at first I wasn’t sure but after this book and this moment it provided, Blippi is now a part of the Family. Beautiful illustration as well and the creativity aspect provides energizing momentum for the imaginations of kids. It’s not quantum physics for toddlers but what it does provide is just as important.
“The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination.” - Albert Einstein
The illustrations are bright and colorful, and my little guy loves calling out all the things on the pages and talking about them. Especially the letter B on the train and garbage truck (I think, can't recall, but there's something else with a B). It tells a story and takes the reader on a fun ride.
The only reason I knocked off a star is that the writer didn't seem to understand the importance that the target audience places on facial expressions. My little guy interpreted Blippi's "surprised" face as scared, and so took nearly half of the book as something Blippi was "scared" of. I had to convince him that Blippi was amazed, not frightened. Toddlers place heavy emphasis on facial expressions, especially the expressions of their caretakers, it's how they quickly assess whether or not a situation is threatening.
After a few readings we established that Blippi was surprised and not scared, and my little guy seems to enjoy having this book in his reading rotation.

My favourite children entertainer by far.
