UPDATE: they pay to take bad reviews down
Reviewed in the United States on March 10, 2020
UPDATE: lowered my review to 1 star. a representative from this company offered me $20 to take this review down. Here is their message in full:
“ First,we are so sorry for this inconvenient issue. We can refund a full of the order to you or send you a new one as compensation. Or we can also give you a $ 20 gift card. Would you like to accept this solution?
If yes, could you please help to change the rate of the review from 2 to 5 or delete the 2 star review if it possible? It is really not easy for us to do such small business, hope to get your kind understanding.”
Actual review before this nonsense:
The first one I got lit up but didn’t fly at all. The remote was also clearly broken (the button didn’t make a noise when it was pressed like the replacement does.) The replacement flies just fine but the remote doesn’t work. They clearly have quality control issues.
That said, it’s very pretty and quite durable. There’s a trick to getting it to not bump into the ceiling every time you put your hand under it. But it’s definitely inconsistent in how it flies up and back down: sometimes it’ll go up and down nicely but other times it will get stuck on the ceiling.
Overall it’s not a bad use of the money I paid for it, and definitely not worth the hassle of returning again, but I will most likely try to find a higher quality toy of the same type that doesn’t have as many issues.
