Different from most in its genre, in a very good way. Filled with emotion and the thoughts from each of the characters, all of whom I liked very much.
RW’s ability to put herself into the mind of her ghosts is passionate and startling, and very refreshing and thought-provoking. The scenes with Robert and his mother and then his sister really got to me, but they were perfect.
I could not put this one down, and will keep reading the series now. After all, a book that can make you shed good tears is worth reading and keeping on your shelf.

A small graveyard, two ghosts. One teenage girl, Clothilde, and one lousy cop, Robert. For 30 years they are hanging together not knowing that they are buried almost together - Robert in an unmarked grave next to Clothilde's grave marked only with her name.
Everything changes when Clothilde is to be exhumated because of the suspicion that her suicide wasn't suicided at all. Robert finds out that he is also murdered and the reason for it wasn't his lousiness but the opposite: once in his life he tried to solve the case and he was murdered because of it.
Their communication is totally fun to read even there are some very sad and dark topics they are talking about.
Looking forward to their next adventures.
