Michael Douglas was not in the movie enough

Unfortunately, this movie was slow and boring. Michael Douglas a classic actor was seen very little. I think the actors were ok. I especially liked the Black detective and the funny big cop who was complaining and cussing a lot. Nice laugh. However the ending sucked. It appeared they just dropped that out of the sky. They do not give the viewer any info regarding his involvement with the deceased woman-not fair. So the end was not a twist-but really a road block for the viewer who is left wondering: " what the hell". And the actor who portrayed the reporter- i had a hard time watching him. The guy who said Di Caprio should have played the reporter. He really puts himself in all the roles that he does and BECOMES THE CHARACTER. I was going to watch it again to see in the beginning if the end justifys the means. But decided I could not stomach watching again.

Waste of time.

Michael Douglas usually does better movies. This flick is low in budget, bad acting on the part of Jesse Metcalfe, and really, I would not watch it again even if they pay me. Low class movie.

Not 48 hours

I don't know if it's a glitch on my end, but has anyone noticed that before you rent a movie, it says you have 48hours once started? After renting, I have seen it change immediately to 24 hours.

Good intrigue

I enjoy the "who-dunnits" movies and the suspense surrounding it. Acting was pretty good overall, and I appreciated the fact I didn't have to endure nudity and sex just for an R rating (or PG-13 in this case). A good story should carry itself without smut to push it over the top. I would buy this one again.

OMG, stupid waste of time on all levels

Bad acting, stupid predictable ciché plotline, boring - don't waste a minute of your life on this just because Michael Douglas is in it (he sucks too). Just horrible.

Great plot!

Acting is so-so. Michael Douglas has a small part, everybody else was unknown to me. The story-line was excellent. Plenty of twists and turns, red herrings, and misdirection. Worth a rental.

Very nice thriller (except for the ending)

Very nice thriller (except for the ending). I wonder if some review board got into the act and made the producers change the ending?

Not exactly John Grisham quality, setting notwithstanding. Hackneyed and obvious.

Within five minutes I guessed the whole story, It is all far beyond the suspension of disbelief. Even the improbable little twist at the end was both predictable and ridiculous. Spare yourself!
