Billionaire Undercover: Hudson: The Billionaire's Obsession, Book 15 Audible Audiobook – Unabridged
One geology intern who desperately needs to be rescued from a hostage situation. One billionaire who has the capability to save her life. Two people who are inexplicably drawn to each other even though they have almost nothing in common.
Just when I thought I was destined to die in a foreign country after being kidnapped while doing a geological exploration, a mysterious rescuer shows up just in time to save my life.
Unfortunately, my liberator also happens to be the co-CEO of Montgomery Mining, my employer, and a billionaire with an attitude.
At first glance, Hudson Montgomery seems like the quintessential gorgeous billionaire with plenty of money to burn and no concern for anyone but himself.
The arrogant billionaire I could handle, but I wasn't quite so sure how to deal with the amazing guy I discovered once I looked past the superficial exterior. The one who stayed by my side as I recovered mentally and physically from the trauma of being a hostage.
There was so much more to Hudson than just billions of dollars, a prestigious last name, and a very handsome face.
When the white-hot chemistry between the two of us finally explodes, do I trust the man I've come to know, or do I accept that Hudson Montgomery is the same guy the rest of the world sees?

I understand, in my head, that this is fiction. However, in my defense, when I read a fictional romance written with modern, realistic elements and details, I want the bonding, blossoming of their relationship and feelings, to be more natural. Everything after Taylor's rescue was surreal. Real life billionaires do not get to take a hiatus from work lasting months. They do not take an intern, regardless of how traumatic her experience had been, into their personal, multi-million-dollar estate and single-handedly care for her. Moreover, the tyoe of person Taylor was would never have accepted that kind of sacrifice from her EMPLOYER!
So many unbelievable moments, events, especially the dialogue and conversations! After mere months after her rescue, Taylor and Hudson just have three-plus pages of conversation and sex, admitting they love and care for each other like no one before each other? *Sigh*
I wanted to like, believe in, enjoy this story. There were too many fairytale deets. Two and a half stars. I am disappointed.
Their HEA is super sweet (I found it maybe a little too sweet).

I love this series anyway and each book is always on pre order from the moment it is on amazon. I like most people have my favourites of J.S. Scott books and this is probably right up there!
I love Hudson! He is kind and caring and a big gentle giant. The way that he reacts and treats Taylor is how every single woman wants to be treated by a man! He is considerate of her needs. And Taylor wow she is so strong with everything she goes through in this book, you just root for a HEA
I really wish i could find a man like Hudson lol
Loved it 100%
