I rated the first book four stars. Great chemistry, fun dialog, the storyline was great with strong characters. There are parts of this trilogy that are wonderfully written, heartfelt. The push and pull between the Becca and Marcus is palpable are sincere but things kind of get lost in the second book.I felt like some pages were ripped from the book (and as I write this, I still do). For a character as loving and caring as Becca, I found it strange she didn't attend the funeral of her favorite patient. I had to reread certain parts to make sure I hadn't missed any thing. I had no idea that they even had intercourse until later in the book. I understand that not every romance book has to have steamy love scenes especially when the storyline is strong but there are ways to leave little hints as things unfold to allow the reader to stay connected, in the moment, instead of dropping dialog in the next chapter as to what had transpired at the end of the previous scene.
All in all, the trilogy was good but in the end I felt rushed and wanting more defined scenes.

I couldn’t stop reading this book. I thought the writing was excellent and the two main characters were fantastic. I wish there was a little more graphic sexual content but that really is my only complaint. A great boxed series!

When the main characters name spelling Marcus changes to Markus over and over, back and forth, at times in the same page it is very distracting. A lot of adverbs that don't really go with the sentence. The plot was good but not executed well. The female character, Rebecca is trying to be an actress but works at a nursing home to pay the bills. Out of 3-4 months she worked 3 days maybe. She went to very few auditions. She was really immature all through out the book. Unless you are desperate I would give it a pass. It was a three book bundle that all together is barely a book.

Interesting series that should have been one book. There’s not much to it really - boy meets girl, she pretends to be his girlfriend, he asks her to carry on pretending to repair his image, they start falling for each other, then comes baby and wedding. The end. Read it all in one sitting.
