I never planned on being a writer, as a child my dream was to grow up and be an eccentric recluse. (If I'm honest, that's still my goal.) Welcome to Black Hollow where all paranormal beings are welcomed and safe to be who they are naturally without having to hide from humans.

Cade Osiris has made Black Hollow his home, but keeps to himself. As a fashion designer he is always lost in his work and it's much of a people person. Cursed to live half a life he's sure he's meant to live his life alone...at least that's what he thought until he met Silver.

Silver DeTourney has hit rock bottom and just needs to find his second chance...hopefully away from town and away from his ex. When Seraphine offers him just that along with a job, he's quick to jump on the offer. But the town of Black Hollow is like a Halloween town, populated by people that he always believed to be myths. One of the town residents has caught his eye, but misunderstandings and meddling people have Silver running deciding that Cade may not be worth the trouble.

A good story. I tend to like anything Sheri Lyn writes.
I will however say, I was a bit annoyed that everyone in the town seemed to want to take Silver's side...a human over one of their own residents.

Black Hollow: Silver Linings is sweet and funny with just a touch of angst. Silver has had a bad go of it and is looking for a new beginning so the job offer from the mysterious Seraphine seemed like a gift from above. Meeting the gorgeous seemed like icing on the cake. But much like Black Hollow not everything is as it seems and Cade and Silver have baggage to lose before they can find happiness. I liked that The guys had to learn to forgive themselves and let go of the past to make a future. This was a really enjoyable read. If you haven’t read the other Black Hollow books you should. It will help with understanding the secondary characters.

The more we get into this town and its residents, the more interesting everything becomes. I love how the stories seem to interconnect with each other so it gives you more background with the characters.

This book had a lot of emotions coming off the pages and the flow for the most part was great. Although it seemed the heavier action parts or fights they seemed to throw off the flow and seemed a bit rushed.

All in all I loved the story. Never thought of a mummy as a character before.

The characters in this town are incredible and everyone has their own story but all look out for eachother.. Cade and Silver both have issues from their pasts that need to be resolved but Seraphine is on the job as always..There is some very dangerous things happening to the human newcomers but are they just accidents or intentional.. Can't wait for the next book...

I absolutely love Black Hollow. It is one of my favorite series. Black Hollow isn't your average town. It is a town full of strangely named businesses, where the citizens treat every day as Halloween....or is it simply because the town is made of paranormal creatures?? When Silver is drawn there by one of his clients with the promise of a new life, he never expected what that new life held for him. Being one of the few humans in a town full of very paranormal creature imaginable, he has to come to terms with things he once thought were only fantasy. Among all this, he never knew he would find his happily ever after within this small eccentric town. Silver has to be careful though, accidents are happening regularly, and the ex he ran from has somehow found his way into town. Silver Linings is such a sweet story of betrayal and redemption, of finding one's own happily ever after where it's least expected. If you like MM romance novels, I would suggest you, not only, read this one, but all of Sheri's books.
