I didn't leave reviews on the other books in this series, so this will be an all for one type review to a degree. This series was able to draw me in from the beginning (I have trouble finding books that can do this). The character development is great and it really makes you feel like the characters have been together a lot longer then they have. This is a huge bonus because the timeline was actually shorter during all of these books. Now onto this particular book. This story led to more discovers and was able to end with an amazing cliffhanger wanting to read the next book asap. A lot of growth happened and emotions. I can't wait for the next one because I have a feeling that it will be FULL of action. I love each character and was anxious to read more about Joshua. I wasn't disappointed. The jealousy and harem adjustments were handled appropriately and really drew me in. I highly recommend this series.

Getting a bit sloppy

Okay, so the story is getting down to the nitty gritty, but it seems this book was a bit sloppy. There were more typos than have seen in the previous books which drew me out of the story. The initial first chapter just seemed to throw caution out the window in regards to all the secrecy that was invoked in the previous books concerning the rebellion. It almost felt like adding Joshua was an after thought. It didn't sit right with me with how his presence wasn't organic and just thrust into everything. The love between them wasn't as genuine in my opinion.

There were some things that just didn't sit right with how key scenes played out. As mentioned before, came across as after thoughts or merely a nifty idea that was used to lend credence to previously mentioned tidbits... but they seemed so out of character for what went down. Those came out of left field and so abruptly it was jarring. *shrug*

This book exceeded all expectations I had! There were so many twists and turns I feel like I need to drink a couple bottles of wine to recover. That ending came out of left field and had me ugly girl crying. Be warned! You'll need tissues!

I loved the excerpt at the beginning where Harper and Quinn speak about recovering from abuse and how everyone's experience with sex is singular. It's they're expensive and there's no right or wrong way. If it's something you're comfortable with, then check everyone's opinions out of the window! Thanks for expressing it in a way for others to understand.

Let me start off by saying this was another amazing book but it is not the end. I am going to warn you now you are going to be upset about this book. So we are giving more information about the rebels and at this point in time I'm a little sick and tired of their games. I appreciate all girl claiming her own emotions and understanding her value. I need the next book to come out like now because I need to know what happens. If you have not read the series before stop now go back to the first book and read up until now. If you are a fan of Series this is another great installment. I love the strength of the characters and the changes that occur in who they are. I love the series.

This book ups the action and intrigue that started picking up in the prior book. I laughed, I cried, I fanned myself from the RIDICULOUSLY sexy scenes, and I cannot wait for more. I will seriously wait as long as it takes for the next book- this series is that good.

It seems the concile and the rebellion are both keeping secrets. This series is surpassing all of my expectations. I have to say this might be my favorite book so far. I can not wait to dive into book six to see what it has in store for Nix and her men.

What a powerful ending to book 5. Absolutely heart breaking for everyone. I'm glad I have the next book to read because I'm not sure what I would have done otherwise. Ranted somewhere no doubt about how unjust the ending was, how sad it was and how relationships were cemented all in a few pages. Loved it but boy do I hope there's a bit of happy in the next one.
