Acorn does one a week of most shows. We switch our subscriptions between BritBox, Acorn and Masterpiece. All via Prime. No more than two at a time. We will restart Acorn in a month or so. We have none of the three channels at the moment and are catching up on NetFlix.
I liked that the actors were a little older and didn't look like the smooth-faced unnatural looking ones we have in the U.S. I really like the women portrayed are competent, intelligent and there is nothing majorly wrong with them, unlike the U.S. shows where intelligent, capable women must have a major problem (i.e., alcohol, drugs, sex, emotional regulation, gambling, etc.). I can't wait for the rest of the episodes (which is surprising, seeing as other countries have already seen 3 episodes).
Glad they only release one a week. This way you think about it all week and ponder the RAMIFICATIONS (the word looks really impressive in all caps). Otherwise I would have watched all of them one-after-the-other and been reduced to a drooling, slack-jawed puddle on the couch
Looks like the new episodes will drop on Mondays. If you're a fan of Line of Duty this show is the same flavor. If you need to binge-watch then you're going to have to wait a few weeks for the whole series to drop.
The propaganda begins two minutes into the first episode. That was the point where watching water boil started to seem like a preferable way to spend an hour.
It's bad enough to have one's own country taken away by the globalist tribe. Watching their success at destroying Ireland and its native people, among whom I number many ancestors, is a form of self-abasement I choose not to practice.
Just watched episode 1, very good drama. Where are the other episodes? 3 more exist thus far, why isn't Acorn putting them up for viewing? I wish they would do so right away. I enjoyed the first episode.
Just watched Episode One and will watch the other three when available. James Nesbitt is one of my favorite actors. I first saw him in the movie "The Way" which I have now seen 31 times. I obviously love this movie. James seems to disappear into the characters he portrays. In Bloodlands, he is very believable as a police inspector who is digging into the past to solve a current case. The whole cast is excellent and the story and production are super. I would watch for James Nesbitt alone but the whole program is outstanding.
