The celestial pecking order goes: archangel, archdemon, lower level angels. According to Lucifer, any other gods are just backwater heathens.
When War comes to unleash the Wild Hunt on the supernatural world, our only hope lies in the enmity of one such heathen. The Fae call her Mab: The Unseelie Queen of Air and Darkness. And guess who she wants to be her new vessel?
If War succeeds, the dimensional barriers will fall. Including the one keeping Astaroth imprisoned. These supernatural races were not meant to exist together. But they are nothing if not adaptable, and their bonds have become the stuff of fate.
This fate may be the one thing I can’t fight. Once, Kai promised his soul to a former angel to save us from Lucifer. Now, that former angel has come to collect. If Sachiel can’t have Kai’s soul, then she’ll take his heart. Only he won’t be the one to break. I will.
Saving the world is a piece of cake. It’s saving my heart that might end up killing me.
Bloodline Anarchy is the eleventh book in the Bloodline Academy series. Bloodline Anarchy is an Australian urban fantasy series filled with action, snarky dialogue and slow burn romance. Think Buffy meets Supernatural Academy. Perfect for fans of Chandelle Lavaun, Leia Stone, and Jaymin Eve.

This book, like past books, have been a lot. The story is evenly paced and somehow flows, but maybe a little tired. I read and I am engaged and unable to put the book down. I already knew there
wasn't going to be a happy ending but where's the satisfaction of victory? Of growth? I don't feel it. However, I have to say that I love the premise of the next book. It is time Lucifer shows his true colours and hopefully be dealt with, with Lex rejecting that bond. Hope I don't have to wait a year or more for book 12.
This... Just read this book. If you haven't read the others do that first so you can know the devastation that all of Lan Chan's fans are going through right now. Seriously, join us. You won't be disappointed.
I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU DID US DIRTY LIKE THIS!!!!
Honestly though, I certainly can believe it. Even thought I read the ending was going to supposedly end in a "hopeful note" I still had my doubts about a happy ending for this book at this point in the series, that's because no relationship has ruined me like Lan Chan has given me trust issues.
WELL, GOOD THING I DIDN'T TRUST IT!!!
Honestly, the whole book was amazing, full of scenes with action and lines that had me coughing up a lung by laughing.
I think this was one of the calmest book book in terms of not everything blowing up whenever lex was around. That doesn't mean she wasn't called out to make sure things did blow up though!!
There are so many amazing bonds in this series but the two that really shine in this books are the ones with Charles and Azrael. The scenes with these two are also the ones that made me cried the most. As I said, lex have many people that love her and she considers her family but somehow Charles became her favourite little brother that she'll protect no matter what, even putting aside her feelings to try and bring him happiness because that'll make her happy. And Azrael has been the father figure that has always been there since day one, in the moments where she needed help the most to remind her of her strength. Just thinking of certain scenes with these two in this book has me crying while writing this review.
I also love how lex has progressed to more naturally being able to express her feelings to Kai. She is someone who has spent most of her life having to be though to survive but it shows how their relationship has evolved to get to the point they are in this book
As always I spend a day or two before writing a review because whenever I finish one of Lan's book, I'm full of emotions and tend to need a few hours or more to try to untangle my feelings.
Well, I'm still so raging furious whenever I think of this ending!!!!! When it usually would make me cry and I certainly cried through out this book a lot, but the ending instead made me feel the closest to a lex reaction I had ever had and let me tell you, I'm an weepy emotional cancer girl!!
I can't wait for the next book, I know it's going to be hell waiting for it but I also know I don't care if I have to wait longer than June, because every book is worth the wait.
You have to read it if you haven’t and you’ll understand. It’s a roller coaster story. I can’t wait for the next book. I hope Lex gets her happy ending. There is a lot of happiness in this book to as there is sadness.
I love me some Lan Chan books ❤️
