Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

THE BLUE FLOWER is a collection of short pieces that all vary in genre. There are fairy tale type pieces, Arthurian legend, realistic stories, and even Christmas stories. This collection contains THE STORY OF THE OTHER WISE MAN, which, in my honest opinion, is right up there with Dickens's A CHRISTMAS CAROL in terms to quality. In fact, the OTHER WISE MAN is my favorite Christmas story of all time.
But if you want to skip everything else here, just read the short piece (it will only take you about eight minutes) called A HANDFUL OF CLAY. There are some wonderful lessons in that one, and besides that, it's just a very well-written and beautiful story.
Van Dyke is a largely forgotten writer today that really needs to be rediscovered by this generation. He wrote widely in his day and was also a great poet. His stuff doesn't move with the pace of a modern novel, but it was written for another time, a less distracted world where people enjoyed strolling through their reading rather than blazing through like we do today.
