Really enjoyed watching it. It is rather difficult to create police/detective film/TV show now days. Not too many choices creators have to stand out in a huge lineup media forms on this topic. To attract potential viewers, many shows take gory oversexualized path, or gory overintellectualized one, or both. The "Blue Murder" brings common sense and respectful humor back to the screen, suspense and evolving characters also present. The series very well casted and appropriately shot, without glamorized technical cinematographical enhancements. The dialogs are nicely written, but I must say without Caroline Quentin it would be probably gray mouse show. I alway enjoy watching Caroline. She is one interesting lady, bringing very special feminine confidence to the screen without overpowering her male partners. She is probably her father's daughter!
