it was so cool! The entire preschool hallway was blocked off
Verified purchase
Hysterical! The coolest thing is that the school scene of Westlake Preschool was filmed at the school I teach at. I remember when they came to film last year...it was so cool! The entire preschool hallway was blocked off, and everyone wanted to get a photo with Patrick; some 7th and 8th graders asked for his autograph. It was really interesting to watch. Obviously, they didn't allow the students to watch or pass through the parts of the hallway they were using. But, some teachers asked if they could watch part of a scene in the hallway - I was lucky to be one of those teachers!! The children in the scene wanted to play with my students, I think they were about the same age, more-or-less. It was just a cool experience for the staff and students, and now as I watched the episodes with the Preschool I recognized the front of our building, the hallway, the classroom! How awesome is that!!!!

A hilarious show!

Blunt Talk is so weird but so much fun. Honestly, I bought the season because I saw Sir Patrick Stewart promoting it on his instagram (I love that man). The show is hilarious! I’m glad I bought the season. It’s a different kind of humor that both my boyfriend and I find hysterical but a type of humor that my parents (though liberal artsy theatre folks) would be baffled by. I definitely recommend it!

Hilarious

Hilarious show, just hearing Patrick Stewart drop an F bomb is hilarious enough, I'm a long time fan of his, and had no idea he could be this funny - and the whole cast is amazing as well.

Not so much....

I wanted to enjoy this strange role for Stewart. That's the whole gimmick of this series... to see the stoic JL Piccard snorting coke off a stripper, right? They just miss the mark they're aiming for. I just think it bends that reality too far and comes off as ridiculous without the comedy to back it up. The whole time I feel the same as when I watched Hasselhoff's drunken, ugly breakdown.

episode 1 is amazing and sets the bar way too high

Season 1, episode 1 is amazing and sets the bar way too high. The rest of the episodes are still very enjoyable, but don't expect them to be as good as the first. That said, love this show. Patrick Stewart is fantastic, as always.

This show is brilliant, one of the only sitcoms I've ever seen where I actually care about all of the characters. Patrick Stewart is brilliant as always.

Great show!

One of the funniest shows I've watched in ages. Just as funny as Bored to Death. Patrick Stewart and Adrian Scarborough are great. I love the fact that there's no laugh track. Looking forward to another season!
