Once we finished the 2nd box, we jumped into the 3rd box. But even though the content doesn't seem that much more advanced, it posed enough challenge for my daughter that she would get frustrated. I realized we needed to keep practicing the 2nd box while introducing an occasional new book from the 3rd box.
I'm grateful that box 3 is not a huge leap to lots of new concepts but rather a gradual practice regime for building up those basic skills. That's just what we needed. Keep building confidence with slow, steady practice, and lots of it!
So many other series jump too quickly to the next level and then you're left without enough low-level practice material. That's why BOB books are so great.
