From the Author
It all has to do with a cunning demon and how it torments people. Not the blood and thirst normally associated with poltergeists, because this demon rips apart that very inner sanctum of your mind. Its called guilt and we all have it. Guilt about something we did or something we didn't do that causes pain. Whatever it is, some of us put away that guilt and compartmentalise somewhere in our brain to protect from the hurt. For some, it can be the re-enactment of a horrible thing that happened in our lives.
The demon that resides in Ravenswood tortures your mind psychologically by bringing back horrible thoughts that happened in our lives that we have long forgotten or suppressed. And by doing so, it wins over our mind and then our soul. It's the perfect demonic weapon.
In this investigation, Bolder and Wellock have to confront the torment of the demon as it re-opens their guilt from the past, rehashing the hurt and terror that goes with it. I will take you back to the beginning in chapter one when Bolder deals with the loss of a loved one that triggers his desire to become a supernatural spirit hunter.
So, dear readers, to write this story hurts me. Because I must imagine, and feel what it could be for Bolder and Detective Wellock to confront a horror from their past.
I can guarantee you one thing; with the backdrop of an idyllic Australian ghost town that was once a thriving gold mining centre, and a haunted historic British colonial hotel that is still standing, it's going to be a chilling ride!
You are welcome to download the courtesy first chapter from Bookfunnel which takes you back to the beginning when Bolder decides to become a priest. Many of my readers have become friends with Bolder and want to know more--so here it is.

*I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book and I am not required to leave a review. The comments and opinions expressed are strictly my own.*
This book is the most creepy, freaky, and disturbing case so far. I am still sleeping with the lights on.
What John did to Bolder several times in this book made me madder than a snake. I wanted to grab his evil neck and just snap it, not that it'd do any good. I did cry however. Wellock is his usual chain smoking self who actually gets something from the chief that he wasn't expecting and it was so funny.
This book has it all. Curses, ghosts, demons, 2 ancient graveyards and some of the most evil horrific things you can imagine. It also has a chilling ending that will have you begging for the next book!
I just can't praise Janice Tremayne enough. This woman really knows her stuff!
