While I love Sherrilyn's writing and stories this is sort of a ripoff. When I got it right away it was 7 dollars, the same price as a mass market paperback and to learn its only 40 pages long? And that the last 10 or so aren't even a League story? That's disappointing. Also disappointing is the story itself there is so much potential and I would love to know more about the characters introduced in this one (she has the best characters around) but essentially this story is three very short scenes. It's a short story that is being sold as though it was a novella for the price of a novel.

I love this author and this series in particular. After dealing with the disappointment about the release or nonrelease of "Born of Blood". I believed this might be the thing to fix my disappointment. WRONG!!!! I accepted the fact that I would have to forgo the kindle edition as it doesn't exist. Like other reviewers, I was angry to find I had paid $6.99 for a few scenes, not even a novella or short story. It was disjointed and didn't mix with previous story lines. Time will tell if I allow this author to part me from my money for pure drivel again. Maybe this author should realize that releasing drivel like this only harms her reputation and future sales for anything else.

No, this was the entire story. Do yourself a favor and wait for the next novel, anything would be better than this.

Unable to no star this unfortunately but I would have if possible. This is not worth the money and PLEASE don’t think you’re ordering a full length book! If you read the small print it does advise it’s only a few pages but this is not clear enough...who fully reads the product description when what you really want to see is the story line?! Refund requested and accepted.

I was so VERY disappointed with this book the main story is only 26 pages long with a second story is 7 pages long & has NOTHING at all to do with the League series it's about a vampire group I was SO VERY DISAPOINTED this book is SO VASTLY OVERPRICED yes I'm at fault for not checking the amount of pages in this book. I will check this the next time i order a book but it was such a shock when all the other books have been what I would call a FULL book this is more like a pamphlet NOT a proper book.
