An incredible insight into deaf families living day to day.
Verified purchase
After watching this online, I had to buy it! It is such a touching, hopeful look into the three deaf families each facing their own challenges and victories.

I am really moved by the families and I can't wait to see what comes next for all of these people who are sharing their personal lives and allow us a view into the unique experiences and different dynamics of living in a hearing world.

I cannot wait to see more!

WHY IS THERE A TV STATION FOR THE DEAF?
Verified purchase
Why is there no a DEAF Channel there are thousands of DEAF people who have TV caption capability but what happens when an individual is also Sight Impaired. My Mother became totally deaf at the age of 3, she is 88 years old and has Macular Degeneration. But amazingly she can see Sign Language and thats how we are now communicating with her.
When she saw DEAF OUT LOUD it was the first time that our family saw Mom glued to the TV set and laughing and signing, actually interactively involved with what she was seeing. How do we go about getting a DEAF CHANNEL
TELEVISION STATION for the Deaf and Sight Impaired. We have in the US Black TV, Asian TV, Hindu TV, Vietnamese TV Stations. Why not DEAF? If there is anyone out there in getting this ball rolling it would help so many DEAF people and my Mom.

Good show, but you are paying for 1 episode, not 1 season. Very misleading.

The show is great. I love it! I watched the first episode on sling and came here to purchase the first season, only to find out that I paid $3.something for a single episode, and it is the one I already watched! So annoyed.

Really, really good!

If you have any interest in the deaf community you should watch this. I bought it without having seen it, it was pretty cheap, and I am really, really glad I did.

I love to hear about their stories. Each deaf family have different opinions, different personalities, different lifestyles, different choices, different deafness, different decisions, etc.
