Great cast. Horrible plot.
Rachael Sterling and Martin Freeman in a comedy drama together. What could go wrong? Well, everything if the writing is awful. These two excellent actors and their fine supporting cast simply cannot polish a turd. The premise is hokey but I watched it anyway. The working-class conspiracy theorist magically knows what everyone should do with their lives and the yuppies are all stupid and misled. It is supremely annoying that the man (in the woman's body) is the one telling everyone what they should think and how they should act and the women (in the man's body) just huddles under a tarpaulin in the rain and acts helpless. It's a quick watch so it won't waste too much of your time. But it's more like an after-school special from the 80s than a miniseries from 2009. Also, the ending seems like they had to wrap it up before they ran out of videotape, so they didn't bother wrapping up all the plotlines. Really poor.

I'm embarrassed for everyone in this
The second star is a pity star for Martin Freeman's potential, which is completely AWOL in this spectacular dud. The premise is a working class schlub and a snob change places after an electrical storm; he wakes up in her body and vice versa. This is even dumber than it sounds, and not in an ironic tongue-in-cheek way.

I'd rather swan dive into a meat grinder than to watch this again
If you're wanting a "Freaky Friday" movie with no comedy and with two main characters who are impossible to care about, watch this. Martin Freeman can't even play someone who is classless, and the girl (whoever she is) mostly stands around looking confused and barking like a seal. The bad guys weren't scary, the good guys weren't good. The women were (predictably) shallow and victimized, the men were (predictably) gullible or boorish. Boring, boring, boring.

Bad end.
I thought it was great. Kind of awkward and the ending killed me, but I'd say it's worth a watch if you can get over the hackneyed premise and the comedy of errors BS.

I liked it.
The cast is great and it was a cute show. I really actually enjoyed it and I was not expecting to based off the reviews. The end could use alot of work, but worth the time anyway.
