I actually threw this away as I knew I'd never read it again and made a note in my book list. It caught my attention for a chapter and then I lost interest. The main character's fears seemed off. Anyway, I love RaeAnn's books and have quite a compilation of different series including the other 4 of the Brambleberry series. This one just doesn't live up to the others.

Bad English- Spanish translations

It was a kind of sweet story, but you already know the ending. I think that what I did not like is that the Spanish translations were not correct most of the time. I can’t believe the editing was not done well. And I am from Honduras so some things were not correct as well, for example the meaning of catrachos. It annoyed me each time I saw a bad translation and finished the book just to get it done. I didn’t feel excited or looking forward to continuing reading as with other books from Raeanne Thayne.

This is the first time I provide a bad review. Heads up with the editing, how is possible a fully bilingual person was not selected.

I was so happy to revisit Brambleberry House and get updated on some of the previous tenants. Rosa and Wyatt's story was well written without overdoing the angst of the main characters. The ending and it's revelations was very satisfying!
