I'm still giving the book 3 stars because I did like the story. The previous books were better in my opinion though. I read them one right after the other so I FIGURE I may just be burned out on DK Hood!!!
It took the grasp of a victim to her loved one to set up a chain of vengeance. I want to live in a reality that this piece of fiction stays fiction, but sadly real life shakes me to the core. We all need an avenging angel for the unimaginable. I don't promote murder but everyone should reap what the sew. This book will have you emotionally spent. It is well written and trying to figure out who was the killer was impossible. I have read every book by this author and they always leaves a lasting impression. We need to do better and people like the sheriff and deputies are what this world needs.

It turns out that the team have developed quite a reputation regarding their behaviour towards girls at the University.
Then three members of the basketball die in mysterious circumstances. Were they ‘accidents or murder’. All will be revealed at the end of the story. It will keep you guessing. I thought I had it all worked out, only to be completely taken by surprise.
Who is involved in all these incidents? You will not be able to put this book down. Thoroughly enjoyable and gripping. It will not disappoint.
And with twists you won't see coming, edge of your seat moments Break the Silence was a cracking and hard to put down story, and I can't wait to dive into book eight.
Would happily recommend.
