Actually Disappointing

We made our decision to watch this movie based upon the cast in the film. Looked to be an interesting and funny flick to watch together. Candidly there were some funny parts and lines, but the storyline was very weak and choppy. We expected more from the production. I never rated a movie before but was compelled to contribute this time to help others make a prudent fiscal decision about purchasing the film. Don't mean to be harsh; just helpful...

Weird & very entertaining! Went directions we did not expect!

A solid addition to the weird crime movie genre. And as with many others from this genre, somethings don't quite make sense, but you just accept them as part of the wild ride. Allison Janney excels as a woman desperate to make the best of a bad situation. Awkwafina delights as an ambitious member of a criminal family. Best of all perhaps is the way that the film is so female driven. It's fun, shocking, funny, and clever.

Violent! Murders, beatings, gun, blood....

I can't imagine why someone as talented as Alison Janney would agree to be in such a trashy movie. Do not waste your time or money on this film. You will be sorry.

Have yourself a little time to giggle...

Oh this movie... I am not a big slapstick funny kind of gal, so going into this one I had no idea. It only took just a few minutes and I was sucked in. All kinds of quirky characters who get all intertwined into a great big, crazy mess. It’s so goofy and actually kind of warped, but it had me belly laughing, and I can’t even thing of the words to describe why. A cast of great stars that play their parts with perfection. It’s hard for me now when I see them in another role to not think back about them in this film. So, if you are looking for some straight up silliness, this is a great one to tune out everything else for a bit and just have fun. Enjoy!

Great Time if you're not expecting a masterpiece!

If you go in knowing that this is a project that feels that a lot of great acting talent got together to do a thing, you'll have a good time. As my wife put it, sometimes it felt like a really long Improve show with all of these great actors, so sometimes the situation felt forced, but it was still fun!

Fun movie

I love these kind of movies- a fun quirky dramedy with a lot of characters, fast-paced, a lot of stuff going down in the end, a few laugh out loud moments mixed in with a jaw dropper or two. Allison Janney was so good as Sue! Also loved Regina Hall as a very persistent detective.

Hugely disappointed

I decided to rent this movie solely on the cast list. But the move was a huge disappointment. The plot was choppy (had an interesting weave, but it wasn't smooth) and it wasn't funny. Its as though the creators couldn't make up their mind if they wanted something dark (like Tarantino) or slap stick silly or a drama.
