Blog postSo, here is a short story that I'm currently working on. It's in a rough stage. Only the beginning of the initial scene is tentatively laid down. I expect many changes as I go (the girl's name has already changed from Sally, to Marry after I decided to change the story to the late Victorian era in Central New York).
I will show you the notes and framework that I created first. I use this to plant the seeds for what the story will become. After I will lay down a scene structure, most of4 years ago Read more -

Blog postI wanted to give everyone a rundown of the works I have created, the works in progress, and the projects that slated to be worked on down the road.
First, I would like to highlight my first successful major release, Korean Road. It's a dark tale about a war veteran and the ghosts and demons that linger. The novella is my crack at addressing PTSD but from a horror authors perspective. It is in all major formats: Paperback, Kindle e-book, Kindle Unlimited, and Audiobook read by S. W. Blog postFrom the upcoming novel Wendigo, raw and unedited with the formatting being a delightful mess!
Scott pulled into the drive next to his rusted out old trailer on the edge of town. His hands wrong tightly on the wheel after cutting the engine. He wasn’t ready to face her wrath yet and instead took another long drink of the bottle he had picked up on the way. His brother may have once been the sheriff, but right about now, he could give two shits. He took another pull and tossed

Blog postA little infographic into the history of the Korean War, and the characters from the novella. The tale is dark, it's not for the timid. This is not to be mistaken for a historical war story, it's a bloodcurdling paranormal that tackles the effects of PTSD in a startling way.

Blog postWendigo Excerpt
Scott nuzzled his face deep into the crook of her neck, breathing in her scent. Loving every bit of her. He kissed her there, and when he did flashes of blood and flesh pulsed through his mind. The lilacs. The whispers. He stuck his tongue out and traced the fine line of her jaw bone. She jumped back.
“Did you lick me?”
“I love you.” He said and drew her close again. “I’ll help you leave this place.” He whispered to her.

Once, in another age, the gates that guard the fiery inferno that is hell creaked open in the dark and unleashed, upon this earth, every drop of terror that could be wrung from beyond them. A group of storytellers banded together to chronicle the tsunami of evil that ensued. Their scribblings depicted events so horrific, the manuscript was hidden away.
Now, dear reader, you seem to have stumbled upon it.
And you have opened it.
You must reap what you have sown.
Come, step into the pages. See firsthand what hell is capable of.
Of course, just know, you won’t last long enough to scream.

Alan is sixteen and desperately trying to finish his time in the Boy Scouts, a kids’ club, in his opinion. When one of his badges leads him to the VA hospital in Syracuse, New York, he meets Dick.
Dick served in the Marines during the Korean War. It is a conflict that follows him even to this day. Now, with his wife passed on and his son estranged, Dick only has his hospital bed. When Alan approaches him about a war story, he resolves to escape his “retirement home” immediately. The boy drives him home, where there’s no power, no Doris, and no reprieve from his own demons.
Dick feels the cold of years passed drafting down his neck, threatening to seize his heart every moment. In the broken mind of an old soldier, where does memory end and reality begin? Or do they divide at all?
Hell is cold, and Death stands at the end of his road, the Korean Road.

An unstable family in an unstable time. There is evil in the world, but none worse than the horrors that lurk within humanity.
An alcoholic conspiracy theorist reads the teachings of a self-proclaimed messiah. He is determined to save his family from the coming apocalypse. Even if it's through blood.
The world is all used up...those that remain will be damned to the torments….We must save them...
