An important part of a Britax rear-facing car seat. It is a bit tricky to install.
Now that we've had it for a year, I question the effectiveness of the bar. On several occasions I've turned around and my son is holding the detected bar in his hands waving it in the air. It is a pain to install and comes our super easily.
We have 2 identical car seats and both with the bar, in both cases it pops out even when the seat is closed and feel that if could be a hazard on an accident.
