Our old Brother Fax Machine, phone and copier of 17 years stopped working. I saw this one a while ago and placed it in my wish list just in case. I'm glad I did because I didn't want to have to search for a fax machine. I bought this one and love it. It was so easy to set up and use. All I had to do was take out the old fax machine and replace it with this one. Took out old plugs from outlet and replaced with new machine's plugs. Setting it up was easy too. I liked that to test this machine the company includes a test sheet. It's also the registration sheet. Fill out the sheet and fax it to the phone number provided. The company gets the fax and sends you one in return to confirm they received your fax. Nice idea. You get to register your fax machine and test it at the same time. Be sure to buy an additional cartridge for the one included supposedly prints just 60 pages.

Worked one time then lost my time sheets

I was able to get one use out of it and then it sent blank papers. Total waste of money and Ii was held back my pay by 30 days. My timesheets were never received and I am fully understanding of how to send a fax. Even tried to send again and page up and down and nothing, just to be sure. I left Efax for a brand I thought I could trust. Never again. This was a very stressful experience and will never again make this mistake and will advise anyone considering to stay on the safe side and do efex. This piece of crap may be OK for receiving a fax and printing a hard copy if you need one but why? By a printer from HP

Bought this for my personal use after being asked more than once in a month to "fax a copy of that over to us" in order to have something corrected on a bill or a warranty issue etc. Didn't want to get something expensive since I'd only be using it occasionally to fax things. Saw this on here for $39 & it had good reviews so I figured why not buy it & see if it will work for me. So far it's been working great! It was very easy to set up & takes up very little space. It even saves your settings if you happen to unplug it for some reason (like I did) The quality of the faxes received on the other end I've been told are very clear. Was glad to hear that. I haven't used it for incoming faxes yet but just using the print function to print copies of the fax receipt page it looks like they'd print very clear on this end too. I like that it uses regular paper too. The only negative is the phone handset. The calls aren't very clear on it even with adjusting the volume. So you'll still need a separate phone on your desk. That's why I didn't give this a full 5 stars. Other than that it's a great little machine & for the price you get it at no reason not to try it!

I finally decided to invest in a fax machine, I was tired of paying the high fee's companies want to charge you for sending a few papers. Item came as described, shipped in original box. The fax machine is compact and lightweight. It doesn't take up a lot of space. Setup was very easy, plugged phone cord into my modem and it's ready to go. It's extremely simple to use, sends faxes fast, I placed papers face down, dialed # and pushed send. I love how small and easy it is to use. For the low cost price, it's well worth the money. I am happy with my purchase.

So my husband and I have found ourselves recently needing to send papers all over the place. I figured, no problem, I'll snap a picture with my phone and email the pages to where they needed to go right? Apparently..No. A lot of our papers are medical and business related, and this only comes up occasional HOWEVER, recently, I have needed to "fax" a lot more often. I live in a remote place, did not have a fax machine, and when a fax was needed, I would have to drive to a local camera shop and pay per page to use their machine. They closed down, and I found myself out of luck. The places I was faxing to said my copies from the phone were not turning out clear enough soooo, I went to amazon. I did not want to spend a ton of money for an occasional fax, but I did want a machine that would get the job done. This is that machine. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was for me to set up and start sending faxes. This is a compact machine, that works quickly, and gets the job done. I am very happy with this purchase.

Setup was so easy and everyone in the office loves the ease-of-use. Changing out cartridges is simple. The cartridges print about 150 pages each. For our small office, it is a wonderful fax machine. With directions that came with the fax, we easily set it up. It worked exactly as a fax should. Much better than my Hp all-in one. It's rarely used so gets uplugged most of the time. No problem occured when plugged back in to use again. No ink is used, its a dry cartridge, so wasteful spending of my hard-earned dollars does not happen like it does with ink cartridges. Bye-bye to HP all-in-one. We recommend this Brother FAX-575 Personal Fax.
