Two titans of modern horror-Brian Keene and Bryan Smith-team up for the terrifying crossover sequel to both Keene's URBAN GOTHIC and Smith's THE FREAKSHOW.
The Westgate Galleria Mall was once a sprawling, shining monument to American consumerism and suburban growth. Now, it is a crumbling reminder of how both have fallen-an architectural ghost, haunting the outskirts of society. That makes it the perfect filming location for a YouTube channel devoted to the exploration of abandoned places. But the mall isn't as empty as it seems and the residents have sinister obscene plans for them. Now, with the daylight still hours away, both the hunters and the hunted will fight to stay alive...and desperately try to make it home.
SUBURBAN GOTHIC by Brian Keene and Bryan Smith-Home is where is the severed heart is...
Shortly thereafter, a stranger named Doyle shows up, a mysterious figure with powerful magic at his command. Alternately known as the Lord of the Dead and the Last of the Ravagers, the renegade wizard seeks even greater power, the source of which resides in the heart of Snakebite.
As monsters and dead things rise and lay siege to the town, a band of citizens must come together to make a desperate last stand.
And she knows one other thing.
She must have it. At all costs. And by any means necessary. But unknown to Allison, possession of the tape comes at a higher price than she ever could have imagined.
Six months after losing everything that once mattered to her, Allison Cook’s life is mired in a grim downward spiral. The otherworldly entity known only as The Visitor still haunts her, still feeds on her emotions and desires, leading her to the brink of madness and despair. In the beginning, the creature’s impossible gifts from other realms made the erosion of her humanity an acceptable sacrifice, but now they’re no longer enough. The all-consuming darkness growing within her becomes too much to bear, and she begins to yearn for a restoration of what was lost.
Unfortunately, the granting of this wish only leads her down even darker and stranger paths from which she may never return.
Deeper than ever into…THE UNSEEN.
Includes Depraved II: The In-Between-Quel, a short story that reveals the grisly fate of two characters from the novel. The story is as spectacularly gory as the novel itself.
A group of young friends returning from a Key West vacation gone horribly wrong takes a wrong turn off a highway in the east Tennessee mountains, entering a dark realm that is both of the natural world and beyond it. A night of terror ensues, with some members of the group eventually arriving at an eerily imposing manor house. But the house is not a sanctuary from the horrors surrounding them.
This is the HOUSE OF BLOOD.
Here is where the Master of this dark realm resides, presiding over an empire of evil. The unsuspecting young travelers face a night of torture, degradation, and surrender to dark desires. Who among them, if any, will survive the night?

Nine of the biggest names in horror fiction collaborate on a gore-and-sex-soaked novel with all proceeds benefiting modern master of crime and terror, Tom Piccirilli.
“Shocking, emotional, and punctuated by moments of brutal savagery, SLOWLY WE ROT contains some of the most frightening scenes in recent horror fiction. If you enjoy zombie stories, you’ll love this book. If you believe there’s no life left in the zombie subgenre, Bryan Smith is about to prove you wrong. SLOWLY WE ROT is a searing, stunning triumph.”
--Jonathan Janz, author of The Nightmare Girl and Savage Species
Long after the zombie apocalypse wiped out most of the human race, a young man named Noah resides in a remote mountain cabin. Several years have passed since he last saw another human being. The long period of isolation and loneliness has fostered a deep despair in Noah, who also struggles with suicidal impulses. But Noah is a man who was struggling even before the end of the world, a seemingly helpless slave to his addictions. When the vindictive sister he has long believed dead unexpectedly returns, events transpire that prompt him to leave his mountain refuge and embark on a cross-country trek to find the lost love of his life. It doesn't matter that she’s probably long dead. He just needs a purpose again and this is it. Along the way, he experiences moments of hope and profound tragedy. Soon Noah’s sanity begins to fray and his ability to distinguish between fantasy and reality starts to disintegrate. Through it all, he keeps trying to reach the one he lost long ago. And he’ll continue no matter what, even if it costs him his life, because it’s a big, empty world and this is all he has.
"Sure, there are flesh-eating zombies in Bryan Smith’s gut-punch of a novel, SLOWLY WE ROT, but in telling the tale of one man’s nightmarish journey through a post-apocalyptic landscape, Smith reminds us of the most brutal truth of all: the worst monsters dwell inside us."
– Tim Waggoner, author of LIKE DEATH and EAT THE NIGHT
“SLOWLY WE ROT sneaks up on you like the walking dead. It opens in familiar territory, and then, slowly and methodically, sheds the trappings of the genre… piece by bloody piece. Bryan Smith’s latest is bleak and brutal, an uncompromising and completely unpredictable genre-bender. As heartfelt as it is batshit, purple sky crazy, SLOWLY WE ROT belongs on the shelf next to Brian Keene’s THE RISING.”
--Mason James Cole, author of PRAY TO STAY DEAD and BUSTER VOODOO
"Bryan Smith is one of the most reliable and consistently entertaining writers working in the horror and suspense genres."--Ray Garton, author of Live Girls
