A brand new Mountain Man adventure from D.M. Haggard!
Shortly after the Mountain Man Rendezvous, Buck Jackson accepts an invitation from famed explorer Jim Bridger to travel with him to the Yellowstone River region, a place Bridger calls “a land of miracles.” Their trip through the territories of Wyoming and Montana is full of wonders, as promised, but also brings peril. When a grizzly bear attack injures Buck’s beloved mule, Black Jack, and an early snowstorm high in the mountains threatens to trap them all for the winter, Buck and Bridger reluctantly part ways. Buck heads for Colorado and home as fast as rough weather and Black Jack’s condition will let them, knowing the mule’s survival hangs in the balance along with his own.

It appeared at first that a segment was copied, with intent to move the segment for a better read. But then failed to remove the original segment. First time, whatever. After the 3rd time? I wonder if the book was even run past the editor.
