Just to address some things from other reviews:
-mine came with an expiration date six months out from when it arrived; I have no doubt it will be long gone by then
-I didn't find the rice overly sticky or clumpy; I would encourage folks to fluff the rice a little with a fork before digging in
I was more than a little skeptical when I bought the pack but willing to try it because rice is pretty much my go-to substance to put meats and sauces and such on and it offers the perfect canvas for just about anything else I could pair it with for a quick office lunch.
To my surprise and delight... it's good! It's better than I was expecting microwave rice to be (she who lives with both a ricecooker and a caldero to make it at home) and it worked really nicely paired with some of the other options I picked out. I'm sitting here, at my desk, nicely full and content from a good lunch and pretty darn pleased with my purchase.
Is it perfect? No. It's microwave rice. But for that, it's good.
