When I started this series, I was impressed with the premise of the cause of the disaster. Very creative. However, as I read the first 5 books of the series, I kept hoping that the author would stop unnecessarily dragging out each segment of the plot. These books are much longer than they need to be. I found myself getting bored with all of the overly-descriptive and often “campy” writing and soon found myself skim-reading some sections because, frankly, I just didn’t care about all of the useless details and wanted to get back to the action. Additionally, this author is in desperate need of a decent editor. The number of errors in syntax and usage are more than I have seen anywhere. After 5 books worth of giving this author a chance to pick up the pace, I regretfully conclude that it’s time for me to give up and stop reading this series. For those who wonder why I would read 5 books, I really enjoy series-type novels and, as an avid reader, am always eager to give any new author a chance. In this case, I just have to quit out of sheer exhaustion. Sorry Mike Kraus. I still think that you have great potential so please keep trying.

I’m a die hard fan after reading the first 5 of this 7 part series, my only complaint is the 6th doesn’t come out until tomorrow!!!
Mr. Kraus has copious amounts of knowledge concerning every branch of our US Military Services, including our Special Ops teams! As a proud veteran this has been the most intriguing author I’ve come across in 20 years. These are must reads! I’m going to start on his other books immediately. I read these 5 in 3 days because I genuinely applaud his genius of story. Good on you Mr. Kraus and thank you.
