80’s Cool Women

This was an ok made for TV movie. The girls were pretty and acted well in this scene. No one standing around staring at a phone and I didn’t see extensive plastic alterations on any of the actresses. Want to see what it was like in the 80’s give the movie a shot. I’m watching more movies from the 70’s and 80’s thanks to Prime.

The 1980's ..

Well I had seen this movie some years and a decade ago.. Tom Skerrit is the only actor I know that looks good other than Clint Eastwood who plays a hot cop. Sharon Stone really had to pay her dues before she became a "huge " movie star ..I even saw a movie she did with the late Rock Hudson from the early 1980's that was a made for t.v vehicle. Barbara Bosson she is known for her work on "Hill Street Blues" ..and she was married to another television Uber producer "Steven Bochco" who wrote for "Columbo" in the 1970's , where he created "Hill Street Blues"."L.A. Law" N.Y.P.D Blue" ... The other cast member's were the late Alan Thicke,Robert Culp,Barbara Parkins and Claudia Christian ...I love the clothe's and the classic "Porche" even though I can't drive a stick shift..LOL.. So if you wanna see a movie that borrows a bit from Hugh Hefner..take a swing at this one..

lots of women

One of them is bound to be the perp. Or maybe the obvious villain. I like the action and violence. I like the shooting. I like the pursuit scene. I like the explosions. Now I'm not only giving Ninjas a sabbatical but also the eighties.

If you like Kojak, Streets of San Francisco, you might want to watch them.

Looks like the pilot for a series. All the cliche's are there, the cop who wants to transfer/retire, the over weight Captain who reels him in with one more case. There is the eager young detective, the still trying to get some respect, female detective. But wait there is more, the beautiful, vulnerable girl who needs protection or is she a suspect? The obvious suspect, the rich guy who is hiding something and of course the mysterious suspect that they can't find. All this combines for a somewhat predictable outcome. There are some stars from T.V. and movies who hit it bigger after this one. It was watchable and in 20 years I may watch it again.

Calendar girls are being murdered, but why and by whom? The why is never satisfactorily explained, but we follow the reluctant homicide detective, Stoner, as he slowly determines the killer's identity. Most viewers will beat him to the solution. There is some suspense, a few twists and a lot of overacting along the way. The plot line is enlivened with action and glitz. This movie provides decent entertainment, but if you want to see first rate police procedurals, try the Inspector Lewis series.

Wonderful to see some old actors I haven't seen for a long time. I liked the story line. Also love seeing a story line portraying a good cop, and a likable one at that.

what ireally like is Sharon Stone, i consider her such an underrated actress. i am sorry to see her get some of the roles she did get, but she is, to me, a very good actress, and i think very underrated. i will watch anything she does even if it does smell rather bad as movies go. she is a pleasure to watch.
