This is the prequel to The Key Collector, a series to be relauched soon. Here we met the FMC, Maribel, who is a trained thief, who happen to have a magical key that allows her to travel in time, how cool is that? 🤩... we also met a posible romantic interest, Bastien; they both work for the Blue Light Club, where they receive and deliver the assigned jobs. Can't wait for the first book to release, as it promises to be a fantastic series!!! 💕
💠 Broken Butterfly by Leigh Kelsey
Amazing introduction to this new world Leigh is creating, she always writes original and different stories, with plots so intriguing and enthralling, and the steam, OMFG!!! 🥵
Pia's life is turned upside down when she dies and is reborn in the underworld, yes, reborn, as in "alive" again, but not quite 😬... and she meets two of the men she is supposed to be with 🤔... and she looks a little different 😨... and she is not Pia anymore, but Butterfly... wait, what the hell is going on??? 🤯
I need answers... and to meet the rest of the men 😁, can't wait for the first book to release!!! 🖤
After reading these two amazing stories, can't wait to dive into the rest of this fantastic anthology!!! 😍
Soul Echo by Harper Wylde
Felicity, aka Liss, has just lost her twin brother and has been having “episodes” of intense pain. Josiah and his brothers are Warlocks, being hunted by the Suits. The world Wylde is developing is intriguing. I added the full book to my TBR - I can’t wait to see what happens
Spellbound by AJ Macey and MJ Marstens
I liked Aurelia - she’s a foster kid, and even though this prequel is only 3 chapters she goes through some tough stuff. This is really like a three chapter teaser. I’m definitely intrigued, and want to see where this story is headed.
Broken Butterfly by Leigh Kelsey
This is a 9 chapter prequel, I think. Lia/Butterfly does in a freak accident and ends up in the underworld as a reward for Anslem and Rumour and possibly two others who are mentioned, but not seen. While she is meant to be a prize - they guys are respectful and are caring in how they introduce her to her new world. Rumour can be a bit of an alpha, but we get some scenes from his POV to understand. This is clearly the beginning of a story, and I’m definitely going to be keeping an eye out for more to come.
Ancient & Immortal by KN Banet.
Zuri is the daughter of Hassan and the sister of Jacky Leon from the Tribunal stories. I loved Zuri and Kushim. We see them in the Tribunal series, but seeing how they meet and their adventure together was great. I love that Zuri is a fierce woman, but we also get to see her vulnerable side in this story. Kushim is sweet but also alpha in his own way :)
As for the collection? Holy good smokes! This is a behemoth at over 2,000 pages! For my average speed of reading, my Kindle told me it'll take about 52 hours. Do you know what that is? Heaven. 38 stories. All Urban Fantasy. Some are by authors I already know and love, like K.N. Banet, Harper Wylde, and A.J. Macey. Others are new to me authors like Becca Blake, who will find a place on my TBR very quickly.
I love collections like this - one that fit a theme and offers me my own personal addiction - new authors to read. Cheers!
Interesting start to the series or serial. It seems the Norms are doing their best to wipe out magic which includes witches and at least some shifters. Zandra has lost her mother and her aunt and has been raised in hiding and without being taught anything but healing magic. When she had been found and is being dragged towards a fiery death, she is rescued by two men who have been sent to retrieve her for the Resistence. Both are shifters and one is her mate but Rafe knows he will have to wait to reveal that to her. Escaping the walled city and making it ţo the safe house won't be easy, especially with a traitor in their midst. Only the sudden emergence of Zandra's inherited powers will improve their chances of survival. But will it be enough?

If you're familiar with the Jacky Leon series within her Tribunal Achives world, you'll know that we've seen some of the surrounding story from Jacky's perspective. It's a really interesting story and I loved getting a peak into Zuri's head and way of thinking!
I also loved seeing other characters from her perspective. Being in Jacky's head is obviously better because the overarching story is about her, but being able to get an idea of the other werecats from someone who's an experienced Werecat was so insightful.
This story is going to be a tough one for the rest of the anthology to beat!
This is a great snippet of the upcoming Grimm Brotherhood Series! We’re introduced to Pia/Butterfly who is essentially murdered by the Underworld as a reward for ‘them’. We’re not introduced to all of them in this snippet but wow are the two men we’ve been introduced two yummy!! You’ve got Rumour a gruff alpha male type and then Anselm who’s focused on caring 😍 will be interesting to see the other dynamics!
Butterfly is overwhelmed by what’s she’s been through and told but she’s still sassy and cheeky with a lot of spirit!
Not sure yet what she’s a reward for so looking forward to seeing where that goes! 😄
Broken Butterfly by Leigh Kelsey
Dying is the start of Butterfly's (Pia) new life in this book. With two bikers Anselm and Rumour there to greet her. As well as introduce her to this new world. The banter between her and Rumour had me cracking up. I really likes this taster of things to come and im looking forward to more from Butterfly and the Grim Brotherhood MC.
Omg this is an amazing short of the upcoming Grimm brotherhood series! We meet Pia/Butterfly (who is full of sass and I’m already completely in love with her!) Anselm and Rumour. We get a brief introduction into what’s going to happen in this series and I so can’t wait for it!!
This book also contains many other awesome magical stories that are absolutely incredible containing many of my favourite PNR authors and not one to miss!
Ancient and Immortal is absolutely amazing and I am always going to want more Zuri, I think understanding her more is going to make me read the scenes in the Jacky Leon books with new eyes! Brilliant writing as always!
