Matthew Brady is a young writer currently living in Nashville, Tennessee. He attended Belmont University, where he studied writing and literature before earning his bachelor's degree. He is the author of four novelettes and one novella through Mannison Press, with his shorter works appearing in various anthologies. His short story, "Midnight Oil," was published in the second volume of Nosetouch Press's "The Asterisk Anthology" (2018), where it won first prize in the Southern Gothic genre.
I love words. I always have. I remember being five years old at Christmas and my parents gave me a crazy set of "Children's Classics." Black Beauty, Water Babies, The Man in the Iron Mask. I couldn't read any of them, but the potential was heady. By 8th grade, I knew I wanted to be a writer when I grew up. I had landed in honour's english class, which was all about words. I learned about Shakespeare and wrote my own Greek myth. And I never looked back.
If you let me, I'll share that love with you, in ways you may not have explored before. We'll go on journeys into dark, forbidden places. We'll sigh and smile and turn the page and hold our breaths. I promise to bring you safely home.
Jay is an author and host of his podcast, GeekOPedia. He's written comics as well as prose for Zenescope, MadCave, Blackbox Comics and others. Visit: JaySandlin.com for more
G. Allen Wilbanks, an internationally best-selling author on Amazon, is a retired police officer living in Northern California. For twenty-five years he wrote collision and crime reports to pay the bills while writing short fiction at nights to keep himself sane. In 2016, he retired from real life to focus on fantasy full time.
He is a member of the Horror Writers Association (HWA) and has had over 200 short stories published in Deep Magic, Daily Science Fiction, Mythic, The Colored Lens, as well as many other magazines, e-zines and anthologies from all over the world.
He has published two short story collections of his own as well as multiple novels.
His novels include, When Darkness Comes, published in 2017, and A Life of Adventure which debuted as one of Amazon's Hot New Releases in July, 2020.

Eric Labrie Giles is a former Canadian musician and music composer who diverted into writing some years ago. He specializes mainly in dark stories, science-fiction, dystopian, weird, cosmic and horror stuffs. Algernon Blackwood, Ray Bradbury, H.P. Lovecraft, and Dan Simmons stand among his favorite authors, alongside with Ambrose Bierce, Robert W. Chambers, and so many other. Between 2018 and 2021, Eric has seen over forty of his works published, either as part of themed anthologies, selected group projects, or as stand-alone.
Alanna Robertson-Webb is a rising star among short story writers, and one of the anthologies she is featured in (Monsters, by Black Hare Press) has been nominated for a 2019 Bram Stoker Award. Additionally, the novella she co-wrote (Storming Area 51: Horror at the Gates) reached the #1 spot in Amazon's sci-fi books in October of 2019.
Her stories are often infused with hair-raising horror, and her paranormal tales in particular add just the right amount of darkness to keep her readers intrigued.
For Alanna the spooky side of writing is a riviting journey through the human psyche, so whether you are looking for some of her wholesome horror (Monstronomicon by Haunted House Publishing) or wish to be transported into one of her grimmer worlds (Death and Butterflies by Suicide House Publishing) then grab a book and embark on a thrilling read!
Joel is a writer, librarian, ex-teacher and part-time human from the UK. He is constantly planning stories, novels and screenplays, a very small number of which actually get written. His genres of choice are horror and sci-fi, although the odd bit of sentiment does manage to sneak in between the freakishness and disturbing twists.
To date, Joel's stories have found their way into anthologies such as the Multispecies Cities (World Weaver Press), With Blood and Ash (Eerie River Publishing), and the Dark Drabbles series (Black Hare press), as well as featured on sites including EveryDayFiction.com, RuneBear.com and CreepyPasta.com.
Tim Mendees is a rather odd chap. He's a horror writer from Macclesfield in the North-West of England that specialises in cosmic horror and weird fiction. A lifelong fan of classic weird tales, Tim set out to bring the pulp horror of yesteryear into the 21st Century and give it a distinctly British flavour. His work has been described as the love-child of H.P. Lovecraft and P.G. Wodehouse and is often peppered with a wry sense of humour that acts as a counterpoint to the unnerving, and often disturbing, narratives.
Tim is the author of over one hundred published short stories and novelettes, seven novellas, and two short story collections. He has also curated and edited several cosmic horror-themed anthologies.
When he is not arguing with the spellchecker, Tim is a goth DJ with a weekly radio show on The Feelgood Station, and the co-presenter of the Innsmouth Book Club Podcast & Strange Shadows: The Clark Ashton Smith Podcast. He currently lives in Brighton & Hove with his pet crab, Gerald, and an ever-increasing army of stuffed octopods.

His short stories have been included in anthologies by a number of independent publishers including Burial Day Books, Black Hare Press, Cosmic Horror Monthly, Eerie River Publishing, Terror Tract, Nothing Ever Happens in Fox Hollow, and Sinister Smile Press.

My personal favourites in order of appearance:
Tenure, by V A Vazquez - lovely mystery, great suspense
The Forgotten Prince, by Elizabeth Nettleton - short but sweet, really nice escalation
Flying Home, by Joel R Hunt - made me feel deeply uncomfortable, very firmly rooted in familiar anxieties
Godspore, by Marc Sorondo - unique style amongst the others, leaves plenty to the imagination
Keep One In The Chamber, by T M Brown - very good rendition of a classic post-apocalyptic setting, some excellent world-building
