Weird Things Happen in a Louisiana Swamp

Being from Louisiana and knowing the Manchac area, I couldn't pass up this one. I didn't really like one part of the ending, but the way the alligator returned was clever. I thought the characters were well developed for a short story, and it kept me reading. I wanted the man to be returned to normal, but then you wouldn't have had your story. I could visualize the swamp and lakes from the description the author painted. Great job of describing the sound effects of boat motors and how one can tell the unique differences just as with a car engine. A short read for when you don't have much time.

Albino alligator, swamp witch stir up chills

I enjoyed this story of an albino alligator in the bayou, and his mistress, the Witch of the Swamp. I laughed a few times when I probably wasn't supposed to, but there were a few aspects that just go off into legend instead of reality. Of course, it is a horror story. And it does put a chill on your skin. I'd recommend this story for horror fans.

Short horror story about an albino crocodile and a Swamp Witch who inhabit the Bayou of Louisiana. The characters are fairly well developed and the plot line moves along briskly with enough twists and turns to keep the reader guessing.

This is not my preferred genre, but I did enjoy this short story combining elements of mystery and horror.
