Emmy award winner Bill Oberst Jr. opens the collection and sets the stage for the stories to come. From aliens to demons to werewolves and so many more, you’re sure to fall in love with these tales of the Macabre.
So come on in. Take a load off. And get yourself ready for nineteen unforgettable tales, straight from the Trailer Park.

About the authors
Sara Brooke is an international Amazon bestselling author who writes horror and suspense novels.
A lifelong avid reader of all things scary, Sara's childhood dream was to write books that force readers to sleep with their lights on.

JL Curtis was born in Louisiana in 1951 and was raised in the Ark-La-Tex area. He began his education with guns at age eight with a SAA and a Grandfather that had carried one for 'work'. He began competitive shooting in the 1970s, an interest he still pursues time permitting. He is a retired Naval Flight Officer, having spent 20+ years serving his country, an NRA instructor, a retired engineer in the defense industry, and now a starving author. He lives in North Texas, He currently has three series out or in work. The Grey Man, a Texas based current fiction series revolving around LEOs vs. the Cartels on the border, and Marines (6 books and two novellas). The Rimworld Series, started with a short story that was an Amazon Best Seller for five days after its release, now with four books published and more in the works. Last but not least, an 1870s western series. He is also in a number of anthologies from various publishers.
Wife and a mother of five, J.F. Posthumus is an IT Tech with over a decade of experience. When she isn’t arguing with computers and their inherent gremlins, or being mom to the four younger monsters (the eldest has flown the nest and is doing quite well on his own), she’s crafting, writing, or doing some other sort of art. An avid gamer, she loves playing Dungeons & Dragons, and a variety of other board games with her family and friends. She’s also a hopeless romantic, thanks to all the fairy tales she cut her eyeteeth on—they were what J.F. Posthumus learned to read before she discovered the Boxcar Children Mysteries. From there, she fell into the rabbit hole that’s reading, where she discovered a love for mysteries, fantasy, and the occasional romance. Since writing was her favorite subject, she naturally incorporated her love of murder, mysteries, and fantasy into her works.

If the world was fair, all biographies would read like the introduction to a Star Wars movie and coffee would flow endlessly. Thus would begin the biopic of Charity Ayres.
Charity writes stories that allow the sarcastic voices in her head to have free reign. Her published works include MadCap, Loki Bound, Ice Burns, Secret in the Wings, and a plethora of upcoming releases. Though she considers herself a fantasy author, her books are a mix of various genres, interlaced with humor, sarcasm, and whatever words are produced by over-consumption of coffee or wine. Charity has also written and published short pieces in Science Fiction, mystery, romance, and non-fiction because she believes that life is too short to stick with one story type.
Charity grew up in South Dakota but left to join the Navy when she graduated high school and has resided in Virginia since the end of her enlistment. She lives with her daughter, two dogs, and a cat which she tries to reassure her daughter is enough pets for one family to have. She teaches high school English, creative writing, and journalism. She has a Bachelor's of English and a Masters in Creative Writing but is committed to life-long learning like the drug that it is. In her free time, whatever that is, Charity can be found on panels at various conventions, teaching writing workshops, or online researching history or interesting ways to kill people for her next novel.
Her current published works are available on Amazon. Charity can be found on Instagram, Twitter, or reached through her Facebook author's page at: https://www.facebook.com/LokiBound?ref_type=bookmark

He is one of the founders of the Eldros Legacy (eldroslegacy.com/) and an author in the Four Horsemen Universe (mercenaryguild.org). He writes primarily epic fantasy, space opera, military science fiction, and alternate history.
He is a reformed medieval academic, a former IT professional, and a retired soda jerk.
His parents discovered quickly books were the only way to keep Rob quiet. He latched onto the Hardy Boys series first and then anything he could reach. Without books, it’s unlikely all three would have survived.

Amie was born and raised in the Salt Lake Valley. She started making up stories before she could read and would act them out with her dolls and stuffed animals. She started actually writing them down in college, just decided to do it one day and couldn't stop.
She took an unplanned hiatus from writing when she went to Vanderbilt Law School and all of her brain power got consumed by cases, statutes, exams, and partying like only grad students in Nashville can. She graduated and picked her writing back up as soon as her brain limped back in after the bar exam.
She loves urban fantasy and is obsessed with the theory of alternate realities. Whether or not she travels to them in the flesh or just in her mind is up for debate.
She spends her days living the law life and her nights writing when she's not hitting downtown Nashville to check out live music or inflict her singing on the crowds at karaoke bars.

Bill grew up in West Tennessee, riding his bike on narrow rural roads lined with wild blackberry bushes, in the days before urban sprawl. He spent those long rides dreaming of new worlds of adventure. Childhood for him was one interesting activity after another, from front yard football to naval miniatures, but from the very beginning reading was the central pillar of his life.
Any and all military history books fascinated him, beginning before age 8. By his teenage years he had discovered J.R.R. Tolkien and Robert E. Howard, Robert Heinlein and Fritz Leiber. Teachers ripped comic books out of his hands during Spanish and Accounting class. Oops!
After majoring in Creative Writing in college, he turned to writing history and non-fiction and was published a number of times, including in World War Two magazine.
In September of 2014 he wrote the first pages of what would become Standing The Final Watch, and its prequels and sequels in the Last Brigade Universe. Thus, at age 60, his career in fiction had just begun.
Still living in West Tennessee with his wife of 42 years and 8 dogs, four of which are Search and Rescue certified police dogs, life has turned out better than he could ever have dreamed. Yet Bill never forgets that it is you, his readers, who make this possible. There is a covenant between writer and reader that is always uppermost in his mind. Readers who spend their time and money to read an author's works, deserve the best that author has to offer, and he never forgets that.
Bill is proud to be a member of the International Authors of Science Fiction Authors, the Science Fiction Writers of America, the Society For Military History and the Alliance of Independent Authors. Currently residing in Georgia with three cats - who tolerate her - she writes her own version of Urban Science Fiction. If you're looking for science, aliens, invasions, explosions, and maybe a touch of magic in some series, you've found the right author.
She fully admits to being weird, after all she writes about aliens and knows how to milk goats. If you want to talk books, she'll talk all day long, but admits she hasn't had time to watch much TV in the last three years, the price of a writing addiction.
Hey - did you find an error? I am human, trust me, my flaws are many and perfect prose is not among my graces. If you go to my facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/badashbooks/ There is a pinned post. Put it there and I'll fix it ASAP. - Thanks, Mel

John Drake is originally from the Wirral but is now an adopted Dubliner. He specializes in the under-represented genre of satirical historical fiction and wrote his first 'serious' line of writing at the grand old age of forty. When writing one’s own bio, how can one tell what will be interesting to the reader? Likely it’s the same as writing a story that’s spun up out of your imagination - you put yourself out there and let people see who you are and hope for the best. So, to that end - Jenny is originally from South Florida, and was never bored as a kid. She was always asking and answering “What if…?” to stay entertained. Moving to Tennessee opened a whole new set of “What if…?” questions that she still asks and answers. Now she entertains herself and hopefully others by putting some of the stories her imagination has spun up out for people to read and enjoy. She most enjoys writing in the speculative fiction/fantasy genres and occasionally flits into others to test herself and see where the stories take her. In between writing, reading and a day job, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two puppies.

From someone who has actually lived in a trailer park out in the country it’s hilariously accurate. With a touch of paranormal, this collection of stories feels like the outer limits meets trailer trash. Some stories you will find funny, some not so much, and some are just plain weird.
If you don’t know what a double wide or a redneck is, keep on moving, but to me this is better than the silly horror shows about how technology will ruin us (seriously how many more shows of that do we need? Wouldn’t be scary if they had an apple employee in the show “did you turn it off then turn it back on?” 😂)
I learned of this volume when Arlan Andrews announced the acceptance of one of his stories for Vol. 2. I saw this one had a Lawdog story, and that told me this book was worth the price of admission. I'm looking forward to the release of Vol. 2 now, and I hope we'll see an increase of general quality over this one.
As with many independently published books, there were a few grammatical errors, but not enough to be distracting. However, I had to deduct one star for a combination of two reasons.
First was a pair of errors that any editor or beta reader with a drop of redneck blood in their veins would've caught. It's Busch beer, not Bush, and when someone is shooting a shotgun, the shells don't go downrange towards the target.
Second was a SJW author who had to include a "woman of color" in an interracial relationship (with a homosexual son, but said homosexuality was important to the story so no foul there) who doesn't know the difference between a clip and a magazine. Petty gripes perhaps, but hey it's my review and four stars is a solid rating.
Halfway through the anthology, but need to review before I die laughing from great stories and situations.
A good blend of authors took a common trope and let their imaginations run wild. The results are very good to hilarious. From mixed cowboy romance and supernatural thriller to magical suspense, and then to absolutely tounge-over-fang comedy, it's a set of tales to lighten the heart as the dark of the year rolls around.
Unfortunately for the dark, those cries are of joy to be able to use the advanced optics and exotic weapon loads that certain protagonists have kept ready for just this emergency. And to be able to fill that space or jar on the mantle just waiting for an exotic trophy.
Read, enjoy, and laugh.
