About the authors
A star-lord and USA Today bestselling author of character-driven, multi-level science fiction and fantasy, Michael J. Allen is a former US Navy submarine nuclear reactor operator, scuba diver and avid toy starship collector. He enjoys helping people chase their own dreams through financial coaching, infusing his quirky sense of humor – and the occasional sneaky pop-culture reference – into both real life and fiction.
At over two dozen published stories, he’s recently contributed his longtime beloved Starflight universe. His released books span the whole gambit of the SF/F genres from space opera and military science fiction to urban, western and contemporary epic fantasy. He credits childhood heroes like Robin Williams, Danny Kaye, Terry Pratchett, Gene Wilder, and Weird Al Yankovic for this seemingly random madness.

Christopher Woods, writer of fiction, teller of tales, and professional liar was born way too long ago to be talking about it and has spent the majority of his life with a book in hand. He is known for his popular Soulguard series and creating the shared universe in The Fallen World series. He has also written the Legend series in the Four Horsemen Universe as well as several works in the Salvage system universe. With books ranging from fantasy to post apocalyptic and military science fiction, there should be something for everyone. He lives in Woodbury, TN with his wife Wendy. As a former carpenter of thirty years, he spends his time between various building projects and writing new books. To contact him, go to www.theprofessionalliar.com and send him a message.
In a previous lifetime, William Joseph Roberts was once an F-15 mechanic and Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force. He has traveled the world and experienced many things in his few years.
During his tenure in this lifetime, he has been called a Jack of all trades, a Renaissance man and insane squirrel wrangler by his peers. Since his enlistment he has perused careers as an industrial and architectural designer, design engineer, and now, eclectic writer.
William Joseph Roberts currently resides in the quaint southern town of Chickamauga, Georgia with his loving wife, three freaky smart nerd children, and small pack of fur babies.
By day, Benjamin earns his bread as a necro-cartographer (which is a fancy way of saying he makes digital maps) for a cemetery software company, and by night, he writes about undead, aliens, and everything in between. Blue Crucible is his first novel. He had stories that were Baen contest finalists in 2018 and 2019. He is working on the sequel to Blue Crucible, as well as a Four Horsemen novel, both of which will be finished by the end of 2020.
Married to a saint of a woman, ruled by a benevolent calico countess, he can be found at benjamintylersmith.com, on Facebook, and on Twitter (@BenTylerSmith).
Author and Editor of best-selling stories that embrace the weird, Philip K. Booker brings his unique takes on Urban Fantasy, Science Fiction and more!
Philip lives near Chattanooga, Tennessee, with his wife and five children collectively known as Clan Booker (trademark pending).
When not writing or hunting the fabled full-night’s sleep; he enjoys playing games like Munchkin and Pandemic with his friends and family, attending conventions and drinking lots of coffee.
Jerry Harwood was born in Ooltewah, TN. His mother was an elementary school teacher and he spent his afternoons reading books in her classroom or the nearby library. He currently is a writer, which makes sense based on the fact you are reading this here. He has experimented with other occupations: camp director, program director at a counseling center, college professor and middle school teacher. Jerry has backpacked Europe, taught in a Ukrainian University, worked in Rwanda after the genocide, is a first responder, sort-of remodeled a VW Thing, and has a love for Cherry Coke Zero that is only surpassed by his love for his wife, six children, and grandson. He is a member of the SCBWI, the Atlanta Writer's Club and the Chattanooga Writer's Guild where he also serves as a board member.
Feel free to share your thoughts on the book with Jerry at JerryHarwoodBooks@gmail.com or visit his website at www.jerryharwood.com.
When writing one’s own bio, how can one tell what will be interesting to the reader? Likely it’s the same as writing a story that’s spun up out of your imagination - you put yourself out there and let people see who you are and hope for the best. So, to that end - Jenny is originally from South Florida, and was never bored as a kid. She was always asking and answering “What if…?” to stay entertained. Moving to Tennessee opened a whole new set of “What if…?” questions that she still asks and answers. Now she entertains herself and hopefully others by putting some of the stories her imagination has spun up out for people to read and enjoy. She most enjoys writing in the speculative fiction/fantasy genres and occasionally flits into others to test herself and see where the stories take her. In between writing, reading and a day job, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two puppies.
