Well Acted, Beautifully Shot, But The Story Is Lacking...
Verified purchase
I gave it three stars. Maybe overrating it but it was well acted and nicely shot. It just seemed the story went no where and sort of degenerated into a chase through the jungle type of movie. This journalist is part Rambo, I found that to be a bit hard to swallow. There's a lot of staring and excessive contemplation. The action sequences were gritty and brutal. It just never went anywhere and seemed like a story that was hollow.

Unlikeable and/or homicidal characters and negligible story line. What's not to like? And there is a strong impression that the producer has a political axe to grind, and grind, and grind.

Annoying soundtrack

So annoying that I had to quit watching 35-40 minutes into it. It wasn't much anyway but, that soundtrack is just a bunch of loud unpleasant noise.

Yuk.

Half way in I had to ff in 10 minute gaps, because every scene is identical. What a mess.

Engaging from the start
Verified purchase
Engaging from the start. Violent, but realistic for the subject matter. I found the resolution implausible given the lead character lived and breathed photojournalism. But a good movie and worth your time.

I haven't really seen Zoe Bell before but I thought she was a pretty good actress and the plot kept me engaged.

Entertaining action film with the always awesome Zoe Bell. She is great (and sexy) in this one.
