I paid $20 for season 1 knowing that 6 episodes had already aired...YET amazon still only has 1 episode available and I cannot cancel.

Huge bummer that there are only 2 episodes available on Amazon despite paying for the entire season. The show is currently on its 7th episode this week. Seems slightly unethical.

DO NOT BUY THE SEASON PASS FROM AMAZON! They are weeks behind on episodes and have not released available episodes, even though I paid for a full season. This is unethical and a waste of money. Buyer beware!!!!

$20 for only 2 episodes, no response to people asking when/if the rest of the episodes will be available? Tacky, darlings. It's time to lip sync for your life. (Actually, I'd rather untuck and GET MY $$$ BACK.)

2.0 out of 5 starsNot up to the RuPaul's Drag Race standard

It's my fault for not checking out this show more before I purchased it. I was sucked in because I bought Britain's version first, which featured RuPal and Michelle V. While RuPaul did address the queens in the video message at the start, that was her only appearance on the first episode.
Brooke Lynn Hytes is a fierce Drag Queen, but sadly lacks stage presence enough to carry an episode. I'm not even comparing her to RuPaul, she should be thankful I'm only saying that she doesn't have enough charisma to hold an MC position on television, not that she's not as good as Mama Ru. The other judges weren't much better; their delivery was stilted, like their first time on camera. The guest judge was the most relaxed and natural, they should get her to step in as a permanent judge.
SPOILER!!!

Jimbo's makeup. Or the lighting, I don't know which, or maybe both were the problem. It looked like cover girl from a bottle straight off the shelf at Wallgreen's. Even though her the meticulous attention to detail of her rainbow candy dress won her a spot in the top 3, you could see through her foundation, it was really a mess. Scarlett BoBo, who was safe, shared the same problem. Are the standards for what qualifies as a flawless finish THAT different from the US and Candida?
All in all, I regret this purchase. I won't be buying any more seasons of Canada's Drag Race. I mean, there's a slight chance that the piss-poor production standards and the judge's lack of stage presence will improve during the rest of the season. I mean, I bought and paid for it, so I guess I'll try to finish it, but I'm making no promises.
The only thing that's keeping me from taking away that 2nd star and giving this season the 1 star rating I feel it deserves is the nagging little voice in the back of my head telling me to remember how RuPaul's Drag Race Season 1's production values sucked so bad, and how Santino Rice and Merle Ginsberg were not really suited to the judges table, but at least that had RuPaul's always great personal presence and impeccable professionalism going for it.
The queens were okay, but kind of meh.
