PERFECT PRICE AND COVERAGE

I notice that many people are complaining about the number of pages the ink prints. I too had this problem at first. The solution was simple. I put the settings on draft which prints the same quality with less ink. Standard print eats a lot of ink and if you put it on best it definitely consumes ink really quick. I keep my printer set on draft and change it to standard only when doing special printing such as t-shirts, invitations or greeting cards. When the light comes on that means that you have at least 50 pages (sometimes more) that you can print before you run out of ink. I was able to put the cartridges I removed (because of the low ink light) back into the printer and got 50 or more pages out of them. Just glad I decided to try it before I threw the cartridges away. Very Little Ink!

I replaced the black cartridge that came with my printer and printed ten sheets of paper. The low ink light came on! I couldn't believe how quickly the ink take became empty. And the tanks aren't cheap, either. It's obvious that Canon is making its money selling ink rather than printers!

Didn't seem to last as long as I expected. But that may be misleading, since it starts telling you your ink levels are low when the cartridge is maybe one-half consumed. The Pop-up warning screen shows the ink level to be like maybe 5%, when you still have lots of ink left. So, don't replace the cartridge until it actually stops printing. For me, that was at least one hundred copies later.

Lasted for about 15 sheets. Very much a scam. I thought i was imagining things, or perhaps doing something wrong with the printer settings but, after reading others’ reviews, I’ve concluded it’s a scam. I saved 5 cartridges I have bought and used in about one year, and I hardly ever print. Waste of money, shipping and packaging. Someone should complain that this is FRAUDULENT.

Yes, this was easy to install. No, it wasn't worth the purchase price. I printed out about 15 pages and all of a sudden my low ink light was back on. Yes, the printer was inexpensive, but I have since tossed it because the cost of the ink was going to bankrupt me. I am very disappointed because I liked the printer. This is no deal. Maybe if you print something every week or two, but not good for daily use.

Printed 10 pages!

This is the first time I ordered just the black ink (I usually get the combo) but there is no reason it should be such a poor product...they are the same thing. This printed 10 pages vs 25 with the one I got in the combo pack. I couldn't finish my project even. NEVER again!

As with all Canon ink cartridges, runs out much too quickly. This was never a problem some years back but most definitely is now. I used to print regularly and only had to replace ink every few months but now it seems even with hardly printing anything at all, the ink runs out. It is getting to where buying a new printer is cheaper than buying ink!

I have a home printer and I use my printer occasionally should I need to print a lab packet for science class, make copies of something or print a form for something.

Anyway, I receive 3 cartridges in which I can appreciate after seeing the reviews. One cartridge is usually $25 in Walmart/Target. I got 3 for $15 bucks. When I put the new ink cartridge in, I get a full bar on my printer. After printing 12 pages my ink levels went down a bar and a half . Which means I can get at least 48 pages out of one cartridges. Which would be 144 pages in total. Again I use my printer for occasional use so I’m satisfied.

If you work in a office setting or own a business and usually print often then I would suggest buying elsewhere. I do see why there are many negative reviews. Because when I do buy the ink from Walmart my ink levels doesn’t go down fast. I have seen the reviews to where people are only get 10-15 pages of printing ink in their cartridges. I printed 12 and still have a high level of ink.

works well and easy to install, swapping cartridges takes 15 seconds. For some reason, the canon printers burn lots of black ink. It could be the consumption rate or the cartridge itself that requires this much ink. I don't print much so it isn't a issue.

PS: Based on the supreme court decision in Lexmark v. Impression, it is fully legal and permissible for a third party to fill your ink cartridges. Not sure if there is one yet for this cartridge, but maybe worth a search? Hope that saves you some money!

There are many sellers of this product. By far this was the best price anywhere. I paid $15 for the cartridge and nobody else was close. The quality is very good. It’s easy to install and use. The one negative is if you’re a high volume printer this cartridge won’t last long.
