About Carlos González de Villaumbrosia
I'm the Founder of Product School, an education company that offers product management courses in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles and New York.
I've founded 3 companies in the education space and have 8 years of experience building teams and digital products in Europe, Latin America and the US. I'm fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
I got a Computer Science Degree and a Management Engineering Degree in Spain, and a Certificate in Global Business Management and Marketing by the University of California, Berkeley.
I was the Co-founder and CEO at Floqq (invested by 500Startups), the biggest marketplace for online courses in Latin America. I oversaw all engineering, design and marketing efforts including branding, product development, demand and supply generation, media and community relations, fundraising and international expansion.
Prior to founding Floqq, I worked as a Product Marketing Manager at Involver (acquired by Oracle), a startup that created the world's largest social marketing platform. Before that, I held positions as a Software Engineer and a Project Manager for several small and medium sized brands in Spain.
In 2010, I was awarded as one of the top 10 young entrepreneurs in Spain by Banco Santander with NetDay, the world's first Open Innovation Platform in schools and universities, devoted to inspire and connect students with thought leaders.
