Editorial Reviews

From the Back Cover

My road to atheism was paved by science . . . But, ironically, so was my later journey to God.” —Lee Strobel During his academic years, Lee Strobel became convinced that God was outmoded, a belief that colored his ensuing career as an award-winning journalist at the Chicago Tribune. Science had made the idea of a Creator irrelevant—or so Strobel thought. But today science is pointing in a different direction. In recent years, a diverse and impressive body of research has increasingly supported the conclusion that the universe was intelligently designed. At the same time, Darwinism has faltered in the face of concrete facts and hard reason. Has science discovered God? At the very least, it’s giving faith an immense boost as new findings emerge about the incredible complexity of our universe. Join Strobel as he reexamines the theories that once led him away from God. Through his compelling and highly readable account, you’ll encounter the mind-stretching discoveries from cosmology, cellular biology, DNA research, astronomy, physics, and human consciousness that present astonishing evidence in The Case for a Creator. --This text refers to the hardcover edition.

Review

"This solid introduction to the most important topics in origins debates is highly accessible and packs a good argumentative punch."

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid Argument for a Creator
Reviewed in the United States on July 24, 2019
Firstly, I bought the ebook version for Kindle, which has the great feature that will bring up the footnote for you to read where you are in the book. This is a great feature that I hope other books will copy. A screen capture of this feature is attached to my review.

When I bought this, I was trying to test my personal belief that the argument for Intelligent Design (of the Universe, and life on Earth) was not consistent with current scientific evidence. The experts that Lee Strobel interviews all offer strong arguments (and evidence) in favor of a Creator. This book made me realize that my belief in the theory of Neo-Darwinian evolution is not as strong as I thought it was. I will enjoy investigating the evidence and arguments that Mr. Strobel has brought to my attention.

I would recommend this book to atheists, agnostics, and believers.
