About Casey Moores
I am a retired Air Force veteran who’s flown rescue and special ops C-130’s for 18 years. I’ve been to all the places and done all the things. Now I’m hoping to translate those experiences to science fiction and fantasy. So far I’ve weaseled my way into Mark Wandrey and Chris Kennedy’s Four Horsemen Universe as well as Bayonet Books Storming Area 51 anthology, but I’ve been working on other things as well. I’m primarily in military science fiction, but have hopes to write some alternate history and possibly some military fantasy. We’ll see, the ride’s just getting started.

Decades after Bull took control of the long-abandoned facility on the moon of Tambu, it has become a refuge, a weapons manufacturing facility, and a holding point for The Company’s varied assets. It has remained one of The Company’s closest-held secrets.
It is not a secret anymore.
With the fleet overwhelmed, casualties piling higher and higher, and the defenders all but eradicated, the Science Guild believes they have free rein. The Guild is wrong. They didn’t count on Ruxandra Roxtador, a mostly-retired Pushtal spy, a small cadre of living science experiments, a trio of fearless Flatar, and Lucille, the base’s synthetic intelligence.
They will hold the facility at all costs, or die fighting.
A Human mercenary unit is trapped and abandoned—betrayed like so many others at the start of the Omega War;
Another mercenary unit is captured and given a choice—fight for its captors or die;
A Hunter and her companion—her former target—follow a path of vengeance; and
Earth’s first Peacemaker becomes aware of the shadow that’s loomed over her shoulder for most of her life.
All of these forces are on a collision path which intersects within the walls of a vast arcology on a faraway planet. The Veetanho masterminds conspire to crush all of the Human forces, with no concern for the destruction they’ll cause, but Bull—like always—has a plan. Sooner or later, though, his luck is going to run out. Will his strategies and tactics once again be enough to carry the day, allowing him to rescue the remaining Humans, or will they all be just more casualties of Veetanho vengeance?
Changelings, Ogres, Medusae, and other fantastic creatures all have tales to tell, tales that show they’re more than simply horrors in the night or foes worthy of heroes to defeat.
Fifteen of these tales are here in Talons & Talismans I.
A necromancer tries to save a zombie from a broken heart. A medusa searches for someone who sees her and doesn’t have a heart of stone. Werewolves mourn lost families while seeking new ones. And, of course, there are Dragons, including one who must choose between his hoard and a new friend.
Will these monsters remain monstrous, or will they become something more than simply a beast? Come and find out.

It is a time of high adventure! A time for heroes to say “No!” to the evils that will befall their families and friends if they don’t rise to the task at hand…even if they don’t want to! If they won’t take up arms and spells on behalf of their people, civilization will fall.
Fifteen exceptional authors have spun tales of reluctant heroes—people often like you and me, who didn’t think they were worthy, needed, or even “the right one for the job.” Sometimes all they have going for them is that they’re the wrong person at the wrong time. When there’s no one else, though, a hero must do what’s necessary, whether that’s fighting demons, the undead, or an unconquerable enemy.
Songs of Valor focuses on heroes rising to the challenge presented them. An untrained human facing an ancient dragon. A necromancer fighting a demon in the land of the elves. A dragon rider well past her prime coming back to protect the ones she loves. An over-the-hill fighter who does what he must to stem the tide of evil.
Inside are fifteen incredible stories of heroes rising to the occasion. Their willingness to brave the peril, though, doesn’t guarantee their success. If their valor should fail, all indeed will be lost! Will they succeed? Step inside and find out!

During the Alpha Contracts, one hundred of Earth’s finest mercenary organizations went to the far reaches of the Galaxy to fight for credits. Only four returned. The rest, tens of thousands of humanity’s best warriors, were gone. Unbeknownst to most, a small, unconventional group chose a different path. Their foresight and unique talents set the stage not only for the long-haul shipping company of the present day, but of something else.
Years later, a promising young mercenary receives an invitation to a strange, secretive shipping company. There, he discovers a shadowy organization dating back to the Alpha Contracts. An organization dedicated to rescuing Human mercenaries and returning them with honor. An organization, which—despite its many faults—restores his faith in humanity. It gives him purpose and earns him his nickname: Bull.
Unfortunately, this clandestine company, and their heroic efforts, have not gone unnoticed. When a high profile hostage rescue goes bad, Bull and Jimmy Francis—the young pilot known as Snowman—find themselves searching for a way to create a better, more capable company so that others may live—all while hiding in plain sight.
It’s the Twenty-Second Century. The galaxy has opened up to humanity as a hyperactive beehive of stargates and new technologies, and we suddenly find ourselves in a vast playground of different races, environments, and cultures. There’s just one catch: we are pretty much at the bottom of the food chain.
Enter the Four Horsemen universe, where only a willingness to fight and die for money separates Humans from the majority of the other races. Enter a galaxy not only of mercenaries, but also of aliens, hired assassins, and accountants. Accountants?

From the outside, The Lyon’s Den doesn’t look like much; there isn’t even a sign. But Mercs of all species know that if you head to southwest Houston, near the Starport, there’s a particular run-down strip mall that looks like it’s been abandoned for years. The glass door second from the south end of the strip is plastered over on the inside with blue paper, and the faint golden outline of a rampant lion is the only clue.
The door is locked, of course, and beyond the door is nothing but a darkened hallway with a downward slope and a slight curve to it. Once you follow this curve far enough, you are greeted by two very large, very well-armed Lumar. “Welcome to the Lyon’s Den,” the larger of the two says without a translator, and without a trace of an alien accent. “You know the rules?”
Welcome back to the Four Horsemen universe, where only a willingness to fight and die for money separates Humans from the majority of the other races. Edited by bestselling authors and universe creators Mark Wandrey and Chris Kennedy, “The Gates of Hell: More Tales from the Lyon’s Den” includes fifteen all-new stories in the Four Horsemen universe by a variety of bestselling authors—and some you may not have heard of…yet. It’s the Twenty-Second Century. Humanity has taken its first steps into the galaxy, and we’ve found ourselves in a vast playground of alien races, environments, and cultures. As the newest players on the universal stage, though, our position is readily apparent—we’re at the bottom of the food chain. But we’ve found new allies.
The Depik are feared across the galaxy as the ultimate assassins, but when an attack on their home world devastates their society, the survivors are scattered across the galaxy. As humanity helps bring their civilization back together, though, how do the remaining Depik adults put their society back together and teach the young kits and kitas about what was lost?
Stories. Not only are stories told to educate, but also to help the young Depik make sense of their place in a galaxy that is so much bigger than they are. Enter now the world of the assassin, as these peerless killers decide how to make their way forward, and thirteen amazing authors imagine the paths these Hunters will take.

Thirty-five awesome stories - one kick ass meme that started it all.
It started as a joke. Storm Area 51 they said. They can't stop all of us they said. But all laughter stopped when the U.S. Air Force mobilized the reserves and pulled out the big guns.
However, relentless mockery and derision by the media and the powers that be pushed the weebs and alien enthusiasts too far. What else were they supposed to do? They put on their big girl panties and showed up, determined to find out exactly what secrets were hidden behind the walls of the clandestine government facility.
Are you brave enough to buy this anthology today? If you are find out what the government wants to keep hidden.
