An awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very professionally written who-dunnit cozy murder mystery book. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a huge set of unique characters & facts to keep track of. This could also make another great murder mystery movie, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an amazingly easy rating of 5 stars.

My 5yrar old was horrified watching the Sarajeo people and what they had to endure.she convinced many in the small country of New Zealand where we live to send them items that could help for the education of many children. The were accepted in by Melissa, a young girl from Sarajevo who had appealed for help. I though my very young daughter was very brave appearing on national television and reading this book make me think about Melissa, and wondering where she is know.. I enjoyed the read, and as an author myself, thought the book was well written and edited. Look for to my next Rathbun book.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes reading mystery thrillers. Readers of romance will also enjoy this book. This book was mostly clean with very little profanity and no descriptive sex scenes, but there was a lot of distasteful sexual references. However, Rathbun draws you in at the beginning and you will not be able to put the book down until the end.

Often Romance is mixed in with mystery/thrillers. This book cannot make up its mind which type of book it is. The Mystery/Thriller part is made up of an excellent background story, which had it been the total would have been worth a four or five star review. A young lady of ex Yugoslavian descent parents' have been killed in the ubiquitous "botched robbery". Having lived a life of extreme frugality she is shocked to find she has been left a staggeringly large fortune. She comes to our heroine to investigate the origins of her new found wealth as she does not want it if it is tainted. And boy is it tainted ! One or two things do not make sense, not the least of which is why was she left the entire fortune and not just the little bit in an account for her.
What completely spoilt it for me was the long winded romance with the heroine's new man. As a 70+ (grumpy ?) old man I am not drawn to over sexed 52 year old grandmothers. I am certainly not interested in the minute details of what she wears in the lingerie department, almost every day, nor am I drawn to details of her sexual encounters every night it would seem. This romance continues in bland detail for long after the baddy is discovered and charged and all the danger is over. I skip read this long passage and it negated almost all the good story that had gone before
