Always the bridesmaid, but never the bride.
That’s what I’m known for amongst my large group of friends and family.
Arriving home alone from another wedding very much single not only sucked but only solidified the fact that I may never find love—and that I couldn't even afford to join the wedding party on the space cruise.
It’s okay. I’ve learned to accept my fate in life.
All I needed was my best friend, Loki, who would never betray me…. Much.
Little did I know, my cat had plans for me…
Catnapped by the Catman is a full-length standalone sci-fi slow burn romance featuring a heroine whose life is turned upside down, a growly, protective feline hero, and a tricky black cat who only wants the best for his 'princess'.
If you like sexy alien-looking aliens, sweet-n-steamy romance, and thrilling adventure, you’ll love this series. No cheating, no cliffhanger, and a happily ever after guaranteed for each couple! Each book in the series can be read as a standalone, but for maximum enjoyment, it’s recommended that the series be read in order.

This is a story about learning to communicate with different languages and cultures. It is a slowly progressing relationship, because they're learning to trust each other. Well, when Loki isn't being a butt lol. But it's sweet at the heart of it. There's misunderstandings, but they learn to work through them. The little talks, mimes, and experiences that bind them closer together are what make a book special. To find a sci-fi romance, that's actually a romance, is a hidden gem. It's nice to find an actual romance in the romance section. Too often they're actually erotica, which has its own section. It's an honest literary category, but all these flash burns have shifted the dynamic in romance. And, to me, romance isn't romantic without emotions. You can have heat, but you have to have heart, too. And with the lead in for the following books of the series, I can see a lot of potential for this series with a variety of new cultures to learn about. The upcoming characters seem interesting, and we get to meet Sarah's friends. And maybe get some fun anecdotes from Loki about them.
Sarah fell asleep watching her best friend getting married on a starship, and woke up inside a starship herself- only this one is piloted by an alien cat-man.
Cath’aiq was sent on a mission to try and find a human that would facilitate communication between Earth and the other worlds out there. Led astray by Sarah’s cat Loki, he believes he has found a Princess, one who might be able to save her people.
Between the language barrier, and the huge cultural divide, Cath and Sarah habe a lot to overcome…
This was a fairly entertaining sci-fi romance, with an intriguing alien hero and an interesting premise, however I give it three and a half stars: mostly because the ending was a little abrupt, and there was a whole lot of sleeping, without normal life activity happening!
There is a big event that will probably precipitate other books in the series, and I will keep my eye open for those, because it was a good read despite the flaws!
An enjoyable, quick to read sci-fi romance, for fans of the genre.
I immediately connected with the main character, Sarah! She was super relatable. And her cat Loki...I could write an entire review just about how amazing her cat was! He's sassy and brilliant.
The Catman was sexy and yet caring. The way they figured out their differences but also were drawn together was beautiful! And while I don't know if it was intended or not, I felt as though the way it ended was perfect, it sent the message that family can be chosen. A lovely sentiment.
The author kept a steady pace throughout the novel and I devoured it! While I wish I could read more about them, I felt the story wrapped up nicely and I can't wait to check out the other standalones in the series as they release!
Catnapped by the Catman was exactly the book I hoped for. If you're looking for a meaningful romance with a sexy spin and a dash of humor, this is the book!

As a cat woman myself, I could relate to how Sarah was with Loki - they are our fur babies lol
The interactions between the characters were great and made a change from some of the normal Sy-fi romances I have read. I have already pre-ordered the next in the series and look forward to the next book.
