Stormi seemed to have it all from the outside looking in, however her life was falling apart. As she found freedom from her marriage, she moved forward cautiously...and she was led to JC inadvertently.
JC was a baseball player with a larger than life ego. He was somewhat of a jerk, but underneath all of that he had a good heart. He was sweet with Stormi and patient with her rules. He was drawn to her because she wasn't the slightest bit impressed by who he was and didn't seem to need him at all.
The sub characters added a lot of flavor to the story..the villain was definitely her ex husband and he was hella creepy. I felt like the transition from her being married to divorced was abrupt, I felt like more details were needed which came out later but the flow was choppy. Jade was everything, the best girl friend and I loved their dynamic together. Overall it was a solid read, but needed work when it came to continuity.
