If you've ever thought, "I'd love to change X about myself but I can't seem to stop Y and Z!" this can help. If you've ever thought, "I can't figure out my child's behavior and I'm at my wits end!" This can help. If you want to learn how to change your brain - it's like... if your car's not running right because you've been putting the wrong kind of gas in it, that's this book. Just read it.
Since it's hard to explain, I'd advise looking up Dr. Amen on YouTube and Google and dig into what he has to say. This was televised on PBS, so I'm sure you can find it. Then when your interest is piqued, get the book for reference. It can really help to make effective changes in your life or the life of someone you love.

I have started on some of the supplements suggested for me. I read all the benefits for the suggested supplements that I needed, then chose the ones I thought would help me the most. I got them from town and Amazon.
Since reading the book 5 weeks ago I have lost 11lbs and have been more focused at work and at home. I have also been going to the gym, mainly swimming but a few treadmill sessions, usually the novelty would have worn off but I'm still going twice or three times each week.
I wouldn't say it's been really easy but being more focused and identifying my behaviour has really made I'm it easier than ever before to lose weight. I have waited to write the review so I could see what happened when the initial focus wore off. I'm pleased to say it hasn't !
I would highly recommend this book, it really is a case of change your mind change your body and this book has enabled me to do that.
