College drop-out Roxy Cumberland moved to New York with dreams of becoming an actress, but her dwindling bank account is quickly putting the kibosh on that fantasy. To make some quick cash, she signs up to perform singing telegrams. Her first customer is a gorgeous, cocky Manhattan trust-funder if she ever laid eyes on one. And what could be more humiliating than singing an ode to his junk, courtesy of his last one-night stand? Maybe the fact that she's dressed in a giant pink bunny costume....
After a night out to celebrate winning his last case, lawyer Louis McNally the Second isn't prepared for the pounding in his head or the rabbit serenading him from the front door. But the sassy wit and sexy voice of the girl behind the mask intrigue him, and one look at her stunning face - followed by a mind-blowing kiss against his doorjamb - leaves Louis wanting more.
Roxy doesn't need a spoiled rich boy who's had everything in life handed to him on a Tiffany platter. But there's more to Louis than his sexy surface and he's determined to make Roxy see it...even if it means chasing her all over NYC.

Chase Me, by Tessa Bailey, was freakin' fantabulous!!! If you have read Tessa's previous books you probably know that the characters that are fighting for her attention in her writing cave (Oh, what would I give to spend a day there!!!) are IRRESISTIBLE! The first installment of Tessa Bailey's new series will give you all the feels. It's sweet, sexy, romantic, funny and panty-melting hot!
Chase Me is the story of Roxy Cumberland and Louis Mc Nally II. Roxy's dreams of becoming an actress in New York, but the lack of interest of the people in the show business world is really making her road to success a bumpy one. When she gets kicked out of her apartment because it's one too many times she can't pay the rent, Roxy turns to a job offer that is not was she had hoped for, but that will at least help her put food in her mouth. When she knocks on a door wearing a pink bunny costume the last thing she expect is to come face-to-face with a hot-as-hell guy.
Louis has no clue who the girl behind the pink bunny costume is. After an awkward singing telegram, and an even more awkward conversation, he’s intrigued. When she's about to leave he has one request for her: he wants to see her face. What he sees leaves him breathless and the unforgettable kiss she gives him leaves him speechless. Louis will do whatever it takes to find her. When theirs path’s cross again, Louis is determined to show her that there is more to him. Chasing a pink bunny all over New York City is far from easy, but Louis is ready to get in all kinds of trouble to get Roxy.
I freakin' loved Chase Me!!! I was cheering for Team Loxy from beginning to end! It's so easy to fall in love with them! When I read one of Tessa's books I feel like two of my good friends are on this incredible journey to finding love. I stick by their side through ups and downs, and I cheer for them in their moments of happiness.
The connection that I feel towards these characters is indescribable! Their chemistry is undeniable and out of this world HOT! Their banter between them is crazy addictive and it left me LOL in so many occasions. I loved how both these characters grew together on this journey. They learned a lot from each other and ended up finding love when they least expected it.
It shows that Tessa Bailey had a blast writing Chase Me. It was fun, flirty and fantastic! Each time she starts a new series she does a fantastic job at introducing us to the characters that will make us get lost in their worlds. The supporting cast of characters for Chase Me is sublime! They all fit perfectly in the story. I can't wait to read more about all of them. Need Me is the next installment in the Broke and Beautiful series. This will be Honey and Ben's book. Honey is Roxy's roommate and Ben is Louis' good friend. This will be a forbidden student/teacher romance. Eeeeep! So excited to read about these two!!!!
I give, Chase Me, by Tessa Bailey, 5 entertaining, sexy, fantastic, page-turning, pink bunny stars!
Chase Me tells the story of college drop-out Roxy Cumberland out on a mission to become an actress and make it big in NYC. But while reality (and her dwindling bank account) is putting a damper on her dream, she tries to stay afloat by performing singing telegrams. She meets lawyer Louis McNally II while on the job, and she thinks she's got him all figured out. Louis is smitten by the sassy and beautiful Roxy and proves to her that he's not the spoiled, rich boy she thought he was.
While I wouldn't argue that this trope has been used and abused many times, clichéd would be the last thing I'd describe this book. It has an all-too familiar trope, but the characters are what made this novel truly memorable. Roxy epitomized someone who's working hard to earn her place in this world on her own merits. She was everything my co-bloggers and I described as a heroine we'd all love to read about. I especially loved reading Roxy's travails on how she had to take up jobs she deemed embarrassing just to make ends meet. She was sassy, spirited, and most importantly, a doer. Louis was also similar to Roxy in some aspects, but his altruism, loyalty, and kindness made him stand out. He was different from Tessa's other characters in the sense that he had a distinct "voice". Sure he was a dirty talker and a softie, but there's just something special about him that made him recognizable from the Line of Duty boys. And as always, the chemistry in this Tessa Bailey book was just scorching as the weather (in Manila at least). Roxy and Louis sizzled right from their first meeting and everything was just get-a-fan moment from there.
The overall humor in this story was what made my reading experience so much fun. There were just too many golden moments in this book that had me laughing out loud, but perhaps the most memorable were Louis's moments with his sisters and when he pacified Roxy's PMSing roommates. Roxy's character in this story was very strong, but it was Louis who stole the show for me. This "chase me" game was a lot of fun to read that I was always on my toes and kept turning the pages just to know what happened next. The conflict and resolution was also set up really well that even if I knew everything was going to fall on Louis's head in an epic argument, it was still a satisfying read. The only thing that held me back in giving this book a 5-star review was the rather hectic ending. I would have liked to see the resolution played up a bit more instead of just ending it abruptly, albeit in a happy tone.

Whats his Name? - Rodrigo. What were you calling him? -Mark
There had been one weak Moment in the shower this morning when he'd considered trying to recreate the kiss with the back of his Hand.
Dont be a judgemental rabbit. They're the worst.
Jesus, please, make it stop.
A lesser woman would have applauded.
