Really? Hard pass on this one.

Silly acting by Busby. She's gotten good at over the top giddy goofiness. This one and Daisy Hills both Stink big time.
The kid is obnoxious. Do we really need our 11year olds involved in one on one romantic relationships relationships? How about a nice group activity?
The male is good. Frigon is good. But they have little to work with here.
The bit of waterfalls that you see is scenic. And along with this you get swimsuit nudity. This matters to some.
There is also some cleavage in this one. It's not as squeaky clean as in picture past.
The new Hallmark liberal push is going to lose their audience. And if folks want smut, skin shows, politicking, and the usual carp frankly there is much better and more interesting out there everywhere.

I really had high hopes for this movie. I love visiting waterfalls. This movie did have a cool waterfall aspect to it. It is the story of a girl who works for a magazine but likes photography. She convinces her boss to let her go on a trip to an area with famous waterfalls to do a story. While she is there, she befriends a tour guide and his daughter as she visits various falls. There is some intrigue because there are a couple of falls that are unmarked and legendary but kept secret by the staff of the resort. The romantic part of the movie pretty much follows a standard Hallmark plot and is not really innovative enough to be very memorable. The couple have decent chemistry but aren't necessarily the best Hallmark couple ever.

To me, the movie is serviceable but falls a little short. The waterfalls definitely play a prominent role, but you come away feeling like they are sort of an afterthought in some of the scenes. I would say this is an average Hallmark movie. It's definitely nice but not a classic.

Cindy Busby is one of my husband's favorite Hallmark actresses so he watched it with me. Just enough male stuff going on to keep him happy - camping and hiking plus the scenery and men in the movie. We enjoyed it even if the plot was predictable.

We really liked this one grade A quality movie. Yes the plot is recycled but it is still very enjoyable to watch and the waterfalls are a beautiful backdrop.
