Originating as fan fiction from the brilliant imagination of Andy Weir, now brought to vivid life by Sarah Andersen, Cheshire Crossing is a funny, breakneck, boundlessly inventive journey through classic worlds as you’ve never seen them before.
Years after their respective returns from Wonderland, Neverland, and Oz, the trio meet here, at Cheshire Crossing—a boarding school where girls like them learn how to cope with their supernatural experiences and harness their magical world-crossing powers.
But Alice, Wendy, and Dorothy—now teenagers, who’ve had their fill of meddling authority figures—aren’t content to sit still in a classroom. Soon they’re dashing from one universe to the next, leaving havoc in their wake—and, inadvertently, bringing the Wicked Witch and Hook together in a deadly supervillain love match.
To stop them, the girls will have to draw on all of their powers . . . and marshal a team of unlikely allies from across the magical multiverse.
Advance praise for Cheshire Crossing
“Deliciously funny . . . a shrewd and spirited adaptation that will leave audiences hoping for another installment . . . Andersen’s delightful cartoon drawing style meshes perfectly with Weir’s prose, allowing the work to broaden its appeal beyond middle graders to young adults and adults.”—Kirkus Reviews (starred review)

The 3 girls are all very flat and very out of character. The plot is so rushed it feels more like a story-board than a story. The jokes and allusions are meh. The settings feel fake. The villains, the solutions, the dialogue, everything is just bad.
I wasn't expecting anything great (looking at you Gregory McGuire). Dumb cool fanfic would have been fine. But this.... Eh. I don't even want to give it to my kid.
Which is a big shame. Because I -feel- like there's a lot of fun to be had in Wonderland, Oz and Neverland. And further, I feel like Weir should understand them a little, since they are all 3 shipwrecked survivors just like the Martian and Hail Mary. Trying to make it out with their wits and observation and at times even scientific problem solving. Oh well.
I am definitely the target audience; I like Andy Weir’s writing, Sarah Andersen’s art, and all three of the stories (well, four) referenced in this graphic novel.
Get it. Read it. You’ll be glad you did.

I cannot recommend this book highly enough. I tried very hard to not read through this in one sitting as I really wanted to take my time with it. I'm very glad I did, reading a chapter every 2-3 days. I sincerely hope there is a sequal to this as I really want to read the continuing adventures of these three and their very surprising nanny.
All in all, a magnificent exploration and read!

Final thoughts: this novel is adventurous, imaginative, at times humorous but mostly precious. It's a precious thing that remembers three of the greatest characters from three of the greatest works of classical-fantastical literature, bringing them life upon the page once more.
There's an underlying possibility of future collaborations between Weir and Andersen and, as much as I believe this should remain a single issue (adding to its preciousness), I wouldn't argue against a sequel.

This is the most beautiful crossover graphic novel/ comic that I have ever seen.
